10.01.2022 ******* CORONAVIRUS UPDATE ******* Emily Roberts Pharmacy would like to acknowledge this is an unprecedented and very anxious time for our customers. As always, we are working hard to ensure the health and safety of our team, regular customers and wider community. We would like to advise our customers of the following important information:... - Please DO NOT ENTER the pharmacy if you think you have symptoms of coronavirus. Please phone the pharmacy on 03 5443 7427 directly for further advice. - There are no current issues with our medication supply and we are working exceptionally hard to ensure your medication is available. - In the event that we may not have your medication in the store due to temporary delivery delays, we will be working hard to be able arrange for your medication to be supplied to you as soon as possible. - In the event that your medicine is unavailable for a longer period we will work with your doctor to find a suitable alternative. - We do not recommend stockpiling medication as this could potentially increase shortages. The current recommendation of the chief medical officer is that people have 30 days supply of their medicines. Please ensure you do not run out of medicines completely by ordering them in advance. - We are encouraging our patients to leave their prescriptions on our file. This will assist in several ways by: Allowing customers to phone ahead to arrange prescriptions to minimise in-store waiting times Allowing customers to order prescriptions through our MedAdvisor App to minimise in-store waiting times Allowing customers to contact us via email on [email protected] For easier co-ordination of home deliveries if required - We are upholding exceptional hygiene standards, including disinfecting areas such as benches and seats every hour. - You will currently not be required to sign prescriptions to limit the risk of transmission. - We are trying to reduce cash handling so are encouraging our customers to pay via EFTPOS or credit card if possible. We are happy to take payment over the phone for our regular customers. - Our local delivery service is available if you are required to isolate. We thank you in advance for your patience as the need for this service has increased significantly.
