24.01.2022 Vitamins are a good way to boost your health. But to improve the results even more, consider them as a foundation to build a wider healthy lifestyle. Eating well, exercising regularly, and hydrating daily compliment the nutrient boost vitamins offer. Incorporating these healthy habits ensures your body is supported in all areas and it can really thrive. Things to keep in mind when taking vitamins:... Do your research! Many cheap brands contain fillers, binders and other inferior ingredients. Dont base your choice on what someone else is taking. Everyone is different- what works for one doesnt always work for others. Do consult your healthcare practitioner if you are unsure and feel you are deficient in a vitamin. This is especially important if you are pregnant or are currently on any long term medications. #vitamins #wellbeing #healthylifestyle #dotheredesrch #healthybody

22.01.2022 Sodium is essential to life, its found in bodily fluids, its task is to regulate water balance and fluid distribution in our bodies. It is also an electrolyte and critical for numerous body functions; Controls blood pressure ... Regulates bodily fluids Helps with brain function Assists the nervous system Helps with muscle contractions & relaxation Helps with digestion Sea salt which is made up of water being evaporated out of salt Celtic Sea grey colour tinge of moisture Pink Himalayan is mined from underground salt deposits Processed table salt which is frightening!!! It is stripped of its natural health benefits of through over processing, sugar and msg and other man made chemicals are also added to it. This salt should be avoided Its also wise to take caution when coming across supermarket items stating low salt or salt free. You should question what has been put into the product to replace it. Prepared foods such as cereals, breads sauces, dips, potato chips, processed meats and fast foods all have high sodium content. Instead opt for foods such as sea vegetables, celery, olives, artichokes, beetroot, carrots fresh fruit and legumes all contain zero to minimal levels of sodium. Salt is essential to the body, we do need it, but the kindest thing for the entire body is to remove processed foods loaded with sodium, leave the processed salt on the shelf in favour of natural salt. #salt #sodium #minerals #waterbalance #himalayansalt #Electrolytes #choosenatural

08.01.2022 Meal planning puts us in the control seat to make sure the body is fueled with nutrient dense foods everyday to support our entire immune system. ... Setting aside scheduled time to create a meal plan for the week ahead might take 30 minutes or more initially, but by doing so, a lot of time will be saved through the week. Having a meal plan in place can shift a chaotic situation in the kitchen at home from reaction to responding. If you already have a meal to prepare it will make it stress free. - Knowing what you are going to cook for dinner before getting home after such a busy day and feeling tired and hungry, diverts pre-dinner snacking on poor quality food. We spend more money when making multiple visits to the supermarket per week as opposed to going once a week. Reducing good costs, money saved on groceries makes it available for other financial needs. Making it a habit of shopping from the meal plan results in less food wastage. This supports personal budgets and our planet #mealplanning #nutrition #prepare #nostresszone #nowaste #savemoneytips
