24.01.2022 I’m getting a few messages asking about the internal finishes of our pool. I’m very flattered our pool is admired because making the choices wasn’t easy! There are so many finish choices and colours which can get confusing. We knew we wanted the water to be a light blue, we didn’t want to tile the entire internal area only the waterline and infinity spill over. We decided on Jewels4Pools for the internal pool finish. It’s smooth under foot and the glass beads look incredib...le. You can mix the beads to customise any colour you want but we used a mix called FI 50. It gave us the perfect water colour! Our waterline tiles are Ela Mosaic glass tiles. The colour we used is called MIAMI..... they sparkle in the sun, I love them!! 20.01.2022 A citrus display is a functional pop of colour! Every week I replenish my citrus fruit in my clam shell which adds a fresh look to my all white kitchen. I’ve styled the fruit display with a beautiful American Oak serving board from @aldiaustralia this board comes in different shapes and sizes. 19.01.2022 We recently re-styled our entrance. It was a little drab with a dark console and taupe walls. After a lick of Dulux Vivid White on the walls and a repurposed console the space has been transformed. It is now light and welcoming. We sanded the console top back to its natural timber and lightly sanded and painted the body of the table white. We bought this console at auction many many years ago so it was nice to repurpose it instead of replacing it. We hung a beautiful bambo...o wheel from @emporiumavenue which looks stunning against the white wall. 12.01.2022 I do enjoy a Rose’ with a few ice cubes, I know many of you would say that’s sacrilege, but that’s how I like it and I can’t change now! We bought these beautiful glasses in the Hunter Valley from Piggs Peake winery. They have some great wines with rather unusual names They are worth a visit if you are in the Hunter region.
