20.01.2022 Throughout the last few years my ideals of beauty have evolved, prior to starting in the aesthetics industry I would heavily rely on makeup to make me feel beautiful... now I am all about low maintenance facial aesthetics for day to day living, this involves medical grade skin care, SPF (all day everyday), cosmetic injectables and also 8 weeks ago I had my eyebrows cosmetic tattooed @designing.faces and what a difference it has made! I love how the brows frame the face and how easy it is now for me to not have to constantly have them tinted or fill them in every morning, so thank you to the beautiful Alana for my new brows, making my morning routine easy as pie!

14.01.2022 Let’s talk about cigarette smoking Smoking tobacco is known to not only effect your health, your teeth and skin quality, it also has a surprising effect when it comes to cosmetic injectables treatments. Many smokers consider cosmetic injectables to counteract the ageing process that has been stimulated by their habit, however as a general rule being a smoker will dramatically reduce the effects of antiwrinkle and reduce the longevity of both antiwrinkle and dermal fil...lers. Therefore, smokers will find they do not have the same positive results as non-smokers. Another consideration for smokers is that they are more likely to bruise and this bruising is more noticeable than non-smokers. If you are a smoker and want to have cosmetic injectables, you should consider quitting for your overall health and to ensure successful treatments. If you have no intention of quitting and still want cosmetic injectables, be prepared that the treatment may not be entirely effective and you will need to have treatment repeated more often than non-smokers do.

14.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Firstly, I would like to start off with giving the biggest shoutout to one of my dearest friends @annie_brochtrup Annie is the owner of @meraki.hair.artists the very first salon I visited with my cosmetic injectables business Annie is a large part of why I am part of this industry, she pushed me to follow my dreams and find a way to become a cosmetic nurse and I will be forever grateful to her not only supporting and encouraging my career but also al...lowing me to visit her gorgeous salon in Singleton. I am making some changes to my business coming into 2021, and I have made the tough decision to cease my Singleton clinic as of 2021. This was not a decision I took lightly as I am so appreciative of not only Annie but the Singleton community for supporting my business, but as my boys are getting older it is time for me to be the Rugby Mum and enjoy more time with my kids whilst they are little From January 2021, I will also be reducing my visits to @beautycomuswellbrook to once a month. So my availability from 2021 onwards will be Every Wednesday at @platinumhairco_branxton First Saturday of the month @beautycomuswellbrook Second Saturday of the month @platinumhairco_branxton In the month of January, I am taking some leave so the Saturday date for @platinumhairco_branxton is 16th January and for @beautycomuswellbrook it is 23rd January. I have opened up my booking system through until April, so if you are an exisiting patient who needs Saturday appointments, I would suggest to try to get organised and book in cause essentially I am cutting my Saturday availability by half. 10.01.2022 Did you know that it takes time for antiwrinkle injections to kick in? Unlike dermal filler, you will leave an antiwrinkle appointment not looking a great deal differently to when you arrived... around day 4-5 you may notice not being able to frown as easily or raise your eyebrows up as high... day 14 is when you will see the full effect from the antiwrinkle injections... as you can see in this before and after my lovely patients frown was still a tiny bit active after the 14 days so we were able to do a little tweakment to smooth it out fully, this should kick in over the next few days! So if you have a special event you want to be wrinkle free for it is best to book in at least two weeks before! @ Platinum Hair Co
