24.01.2022 NOTICE OF CHANGES TO VISA APPLICATION CHARGES. As a part of the 2015-16 Commonwealth Budget, the Department of Immigration & Border Protection (DIBP) will increase Visa Application Charges (VACs) for the majority of visa categories. Proposed increases will come into effect from the 1st July 2015. It is likely that a high volume of applications will be lodged in the days leading up to the 1st July. This large volume may effect online systems causing delays to visa lodgement.... 11.01.2022 CHANGES TO THE 457 VISA PROGRAM - in response to 457 Integrity Review Recommendations the following changes have been made to the Subclass 457 visa requirements; * Expanded the list of approved English Language testing bodies * Overall test scores for the English language requirement now acceptable - still incorporates minimum scores in each band... * Will grant English language exemptions if an applicant can demonstrate (5) cumulative years of study in English rather than the previous requirement of (5) consecutive.
