Discovering Emma’s Cottage Vineyard in July 2014 was the end of a lifestyle search which started nearly twenty five years ago when we were on our honeymoon, and this time we weren’t even looking! What we were looking for was wine as our cellar was a little depleted. Well we solved the problem of the ‘empty cellar’ by filling the car twice during that week. 21.01.2022 The Lovedale Long Lunch Executive Committee has announced the cancellation of the 2021 event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Cancelling for the second year in a row is a devastating blow to not only the seven wineries and restaurants involved in hosting this iconic event but also to the many supporting suppliers who have assisted in putting on a great weekend each year since 1994. To that end, we hope to be able to host smaller, COVID safe events later this year. We don...'t have all the details yet but make sure you are following each of the wineries' social media pages to find out more soon. If you bought a ticket for the 2020 event and haven't already contacted us for a refund - thank you, we appreciate your loyalty, support and optimism. However, to avoid confusion at our next event, we will begin refunding all remaining tickets from the 15th of March. We appreciate your patience while we work through our list.
