23.01.2022 I could see my burnout coming. The signs were all there: Snapping at my beloved. Laying awake at night, overthinking. ... Over-giving. Working until late at night - every night - and waking thinking about work early in the morning. My body was hurting. I kept saying: But I have so much to do! I can’t stop right when I’m on the verge of so many big projects coming to fruition! I was getting intuitive nudges. Every day. Nudging me to change what I was doing. To make a different choice. To choose differently this time. Unlike the time I got pneumonia. Or had a seizure. Or chest pain. Last time I shoved the nudgings aside and kept pushing. 18.01.2022 The energy is intense right now. Confrontational. Defensive. Its catalytic. You are responding to the current energy if you are feeling any of the following: like youre the object of a witch hunt... livid at someone for overstepping their boundaries with you excluded or unfairly singled out anxious that youve upset someone anxious about everything overwhelmed by everything and everyone full of physical symptoms confused and frustrated like the whole world is against you like you are against the whole world Its not you. Its not them either. Its the catalytic energy that abounds right now. Change is coming. And you can feel it. All this upheaval is clearing the way for new things to rise up. For what no longer serves you to fall away. The current energy we are all immersed in is speeding up the process of change. A catalyst. Stirring us all up. Those who are highly sensitive will be feeling it more than others. The invitation is to not take it personally. To stay present. To breathe. To know that what is happening right now is not the new normal. To let go of the phrase new normal as it normalizes the stress and upheaval, which is just a process you are going through. I delivered a whopping fully-integrative presentation on the heart chakra to my Medical Intuition Practitioner Students, including: Physical & metaphysical anatomy Physical & metaphysical physiology... 17.01.2022 On Sunday I lovingly made an enormous chocolate caramel slice to take to my friend’s daughter’s birthday party. Not a healthy one. Not one of those nut meal, coconut milk, cacao, date slices. This one had cupfuls of sugar and lashings of sweetened condensed milk. Real chocolate on top. Proper caramel. Made from scratch like grandma used to make.... It was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD! I had trouble cutting it into squares neatly, as the chocolate kept cracking on top. Then the yummy caramel would squish out the sides when I pressed down. I found a way to cut it with a hot serrated knife that seemed to minimise the damage. I had plenty of nice squares of slice to take to the party. But all these gooey off-cuts and squashed squares of chocolatey goodness what do I do with them? Can you guess what I did? . . . I ATE THEM. . ALL OF THEM. . Well, almost all of them. My youngest happily helped me destroy the evidence. And it was DELICIOUS! I relished every mouthful. And still found space for a few more squares of the slice when we were at the party! . Sure enough, by yesterday my body was hurting. Joints aching and muscles sore. My head felt hungover, though I hadn’t had a drink. . My body was communicating loudly with me. Sugar is one of my triggers. Not all sugar. But my body has limits. (Der!) . I don’t always get it right. I’m far from perfect. . But I return to my body for guidance when it speaks with me. I understand its language. And GENERALLY I honour it with my choices. Today I'm feeling like myself again. Back on track and lit up in my 1:1's and live classes with my Medical Intuition Practitioner students. And my body is grateful that I listened and supported it. . 09.01.2022 I finished presenting a huge intensive live class today to my Medical Intuition Practitioner students all about the abdomen and solar plexus chakra, and made myself a quick late lunch - pumpkin & sweet potato soup from the freezer. Suddenly, I realised that I was not only wearing yellow in honour of the third chakra, I was also surrounded by it and even eating it! Seems fitting! Embodying this chakra is all about learning to stand solidly in your own footsteps. The centre ...for self-esteem and personal power, the solar plexus loves the colour yellow. And it thrives when we have the self-confidence to walk our own path. This course is unique. A world-first.
