23.01.2022 As an Extra Lesson Practitioner I have found that Brain Highways is an invaluable resource for parents in regards to developmental delay, which is connected to childhood social, emotional and learning difficulties. My extra lesson assesses children for vestibular, proprioception & retained reflexes and sensory processing which are foundational issues underpinning developmental delay - which is basically what these videos are illustrating. Nancy from Brain Highways was kind ...enough to shed some insight into why it is important to address these issues. 02.01.2022 Hi everyone! As previously mentioned in the last post, I am an Extra Lesson Practitioner. What this means is that I can design programs to assist children and adults. The Extra Lesson is a drug free approach to helping people with learning, behavioural, emotional & social difficulties that are associated with: Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD & ADD. There is an initial assessment to find out how I can help followed by a consultation giving you a chance to ask questions. If sessio...ns are required they can be recommended as a weekly, individual program that includes a combination of movement, speech, rhythm and painting excercises.
