17.01.2022 Such a lovely night was had by all our residents who attended our Christmas Carols last night. Thank you especially to Maree and Jan for all the time you put in to all year and all the rehearsals, to our choir you were all fantastic and we love Friday mornings with the chapel door open. 17.01.2022 Emmerton Park would like to remind all visitors of the current visiting hours. Visiting hours are per below unless you have submitted and had approved by Management a request to visit outside of these times. Monday to Friday... 10am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm Saturday and Sunday 1pm - 4pm During the visit, only 2 visitors at a time are permitted to be in a residents room and visits are limited to a maximum of 2 hours. Staying con...nected and engaged in social interaction is the key to maintaining mental health. Younger Australians are encouraged to explore the aged care sector as a career, as their digital literacy skills and quick grasp of software will enhance their role as aged carers and be an asset as more technology is used in both residential and community care settings. A school-based traineeship is a supported pathway to explore the aged care sector and the diversity of job roles it offers.
