15.01.2022 Just finished from our workshop, a mid Victorian burr walnut cylinder davenport. It has drawers to the side and a fitted interior comprising drawers , an adjustable writing slope and a button that releases a secret stationary compartment. This has all of the qualities that indicate that this was made for a wealthy family in Victorian 1850's Britain. Now that people are using laptops more this makes a wonderful addition to the astute collectors home.

09.01.2022 Great Grandmother Hedgecock who was illiterate started the business in the 1890s in Dover. The family has continued in furniture since then. Meanwhile to the future. Our European shipment arrives Fremantle docks next week! We will keep you posted as to when it's in the shop.
