21.01.2022 #homebirthawareness week. This was the homebirth of my third babe after having experienced giving birth in both the private and public hospital system' with my first two babes. Giving birth is a #riteofpassage to facilitate this a woman must feel safe, held and supported. Out of all my births this is the one that I felt all of those things, ALL of the time. My body did what it was designed to do with the most incredible birth team around me and my husband and daughter. I am forever grateful to Katie Kempster Saskia Meijer Michelle Nicolaou-Newman Karyn Besley & Flavia Amora for holding the space and allowing me to receive Micah in for me, was the perfect birth experience. Much Love xx

21.01.2022 We thought #meals4mummas deserved it’s own insta page as it’s such an important service for our postpartum mummas... so if you want to keep up to date with what we are up to please head over and follow us

21.01.2022 A big part of having a positive birth experience is being able to make decisions for yourself and knowing that you knew what all of your options were and then took the time to make your decision.. unfortunately the ability to navigate informed decision making can be interrupted and hindered when you are faced with making a discussion you didn’t see being on your path. To be empowered is to be informed and Know how to ask the right questions that will support you, your partner and your baby. Do you want to know how to do this? Maybe a 1:1 session exploring your birth intentions And options would help. Message me for more info #empoweredbirth #positivebirthexperience #informedchoice #knowyouroptions #newparentingjourney #meals4mummas

19.01.2022 The importance of having the right meals at hand once your precious bubs is born is a great way to help support your healing after birth.. if you are well nourished and rested your body heals faster and as a new Mumma you also are learning to breastfeed and bond with your baby... so plenty enough to do without thinking about where the next meal is coming from... check out meals 4 Mummas (my other love to bring to new mummas) we have a range of packs delivered to your door or hospital room

16.01.2022 Ghee is known to stimulate a healthy digestion tract, is rich in Omega 3 and 9 essential fatty acids and is full of antioxidants and anti- inflammatory properties that support a healthy immune system. All our meals use ghee unless you have stipulated otherwise. Ayurveda speaks to a newborn mothers digestion. After giving birth your digestion is week and requires specific food to support this area as well as bring the life force back into her body - through food. The healing ...properties of ghee are huge which is why we use organic unsalted butter, only the best for our Mummas. #theseedcollective #familyfirst #preciouspostpartum #gotyourback #supportingnewmummas #newparentingjourney #Postpartumsupport #chooselove #nourishingmentformummas #centralcoastmumsandbubs #centralcoastmums #northshoremumas #sydneymums #meals4mummas #mealsformummas #newcastlemums #hunterhomebirth #love #postapartumdepletion

07.01.2022 So your appetite may be coming back and you can tell people about your pregnancy. The nutrients that have formed your baby to this point, your diet in the 1st trimester has been done.. So now your baby is growing those small parts bigger. Your diet in the 2nd trimester is now supporting you and your baby. Your baby's skeleton grows and develops in the second trimester. High quality protein and mineral rich foods along with calcium are important nutrients to be getting. Bro...ths are a wonderful way to get minerals from the bones. Every piece of muscle on your baby is growing now as well, so high quality protein should be consumed. #theseedcollective #familyfirst #preciouspostpartum #gotyourback #supportingnewmummas #newparentingjourney #adaptingtocorona #chooselove #nourishingmentformummas #centralcoastmumsandbubs #centralcoastmums #northshoremumas #sydneymums #mealsformummas #meals4mummas #newcastlemums See more

06.01.2022 Mostly of what your baby does in the 3rd trimester is put on fat.. In body and for the brain. High quality fats, proteins, dairy, carbohydrate to keep you with energy so your baby can put on weight. Keep active by walking where you can and practice your breath work everyday - it will be your best friend come your baby’s birthday. You may notice your body get softer around the hips and thighs.. Fatty deposits are made for your breastfeeding journey. #theseedcollective #familyfirst #preciouspostpartum #gotyourback #supportingnewmummas #newparentingjourney #adaptingtocorona #chooselove #nourishingmentformummas #centralcoastmumsandbubs #centralcoastmums #northshoremumas #sydneymums #pregnancy #pregnancymealsplans

06.01.2022 Placenta's.. glorious placentas!!! Here is a bit of placenta knowledge for you., Your placenta grows at the same rate your baby does, and in many cultures it is referred to as your baby's twin in the womb. A womens body grows an entirely new organ to support the growth and development of her growing baby. This organs role is to feed all the essential nutrients and oxygen to your baby so it can grow and also removes all toxins and waste from your baby's system. Your placenta ...attaches to your uterine wall and it is the umbilical cord that connects bubs to the placenta and Mumma. Many cultures revered the placenta and its role throughout history. When birthing in hospitals unless you stipulate that you would like to take your placenta home, it is regarded as medical waste and discarded. Most women I speak to about this wish they knew more and took it home to plant under a tree. In American Indian culture they believed that burying the placenta on the land would mean that the child would always know where home was. Placenta Encapsulation is another way of supporting your postpartum and honoring your placenta and role it has played during your pregnancy. If you are interested in learning more about placenta traditions and remedies that support your postpartum please reach out. I have limited space monthly to encapsulated so the sooner you save your spot the better :) www.theseedcollective.com.au [email protected] #theseedcollective #postpartumdepletioncure #postpartumplanning #mealsformummas #meals4mummas #womensupportingwomen #centralcoastmumsandbubs #northshoremums #materhospital #northgosfordprivate #letsdoulathistogther #empoweredbirth #informedchoice #love #familyfirth #postpartumtalks #centralcoastnsw #postpartumrecovery #postpartumealdelivery #bringingbabyhome #bondingwithbaby #postpartumfood #postpartumcare #postpartumplan #love #newbornbaby #newborn #sydneymealdelivery #newcastlemealdelivery #centralcoastmealdeliver #placentacream #placentaencapsulation #centralcoastmums #gosford #gosfordpublic See more
