16.01.2022 We LOVE this clip by our "Audrey 2" Gerard Oman who is working at Monkee & Co today. With businesses shut down everywhere due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic Monkee is still open for take-away only. If you're looking for a great meal (take away only) pop on down and say hi. He may even sing for you!
14.01.2022 AND WE'RE BACK!!!!!! Super excited to say that "Little Shop of Horrors" has began rehearsals again and will be coming to the Echuca Paramount in May. We've got some new faces to our cast too and had a great read through with every one last night. Thanks to the Riverine Herald for another great article. :)
13.01.2022 How would you introduce yourself to the new neighbours after you won enough money to move into a swanky suburb? A BARBECUE, of course! AUDITIONS for the play 'Barbecue' by Daryl Peebles will be held this Friday and Saturday 27th and 28th November. There are still places available for people to book in.... All participants must be aged 18+ (including those backstage) After almost a year of no theatre we are so excited to be able to get back to doing what we love. Come and be part of the fun! On stage Late Feb/ early March 2021. Information can be emailed to you with all the details but here is a look at the characters in the play. Colin Cooper: Early to mid-forties. Salt-of-the-Earth bloke. Recently retired truck driver, having had a change of fortune. Connie Cooper: Col’s wife. Late 30s - 40s. Also good, honest battler not at all fazed by the family’s recent good luck. Col and Connie are model parents of their two children ... Kylie Cooper: Daughter of Col and Connie - about twenty, a Uni student who is fairly street-wise from growing up in the working-class suburb of Bestwood, and Krystal Cooper: Daughter of Col and Connie - late teens, still at high school, probably year eleven or twelve. Both Kylie and Krystal are well-adjusted, loving kids who answer to the pet names their parents have bestowed upon them of Possum and Bubby respectively. Leroy Young: A visitor from America who is on a mission. Leroy is in his early to mid-twenties and ready to break out of the mould cast for him by his parents. Jonathan: Leroy’s friend and business partner. Slightly younger than Leroy, a little more naive but, like Leroy, ready to question the life his parents have mapped out for him. Kevin Glover: The Cooper’s new neighbour and financial adviser. Very successful in business. A bit of a latent playboy. Kevin’s age is immaterial but probably late twenties onwards. Len McKenzie: Apparently a successful businessman in the community of Grand Bay. Len is probably late fifties and full of his own importance. He is a councillor, President of the elite golf club in the district and a server at the local Anglican church. Judith McKenzie: Len’s wife. From a moneyed background, Judith is the embodiment of all the worst things people think about the social-climbing set. She is loud, self-centred, opinionated and shallow. The character is early to mid fifties but as Judith would fit into the mutton dressed as lamb category, she could be played by a woman of any mature age. Judith has red hair. Marion McKenzie: Len and Judith’s daughter. Stereotypical spoilt rich bi@$h who has had it all and done it all and continues to do it all, in contrast to the relative innocence of the Cooper girls. Marion is probably early twenties but emotionally going on sixty!

12.01.2022 LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS - COVID-19 UPDATE Following the Prime Minister's announcement this morning, restricting indoor group events to no more than 100 people, we are sad to say that we will be postponing Little Shop of Horrors until further notice. We did not make this decision lightly and definitely still plan to bring you our show later in the year. Audrey II is still needing to be fed! Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you all out to support us when we do go ahead.

09.01.2022 IT'S PRODUCTION WEEK! And our talented cast are almost ready to stand there onstage like deer in headlights ... much like this candid snap from rehearsals. Will Bernard get the set up without it landing on his head? Will Joyce be covered up in the bath with bubbles and duffle coat when the vicar comes to visit? Will Gordon ever get sick of hearing the sound of his own voice? You'll just have to wait and see ... but whatever happens, keep your hands off Margaret's crutch!
