23.01.2022 The babies have arrived from the bushfires to the floods! An exciting arrival this week of two beautiful Yearlings by Champion Sire Casino Prince to be broken in. En Avant Racing Syndicate has the intention to lease the two yearlings to race from breeder Lucy Thompson of Batemans Bay. Lucy raced successful racehorse Sigmund, currently enjoying a great career as a show horse with Janine Shepherdson. Lucy bred the pair along very similar lines to Sigmund with the aim of breedi...ng quality racehorses with showhorse looks. Both horses will return to the farm at Batemans Bay on the completion of their racing careers. They will enjoy a light breaking in and an educational time in the Stephen Lee Racing stables in Ballina Nsw before heading out for a spell to grow. 16.01.2022 Our lovely Alatora has retired from racing for the second time .... he is here in the Ballina stables and will soon be donated to the Racingnsw teamthoroughbred rehoming crew if a suitable home isn’t found. Check out his ad I posted from last year if your interested. I really think he would jump.
14.01.2022 Two lovely geldings both 5yo, retired this week. One is a big solid bay gelding about 16.3h, absolutely lovely temperament and nature on the ground and to ride. The quietest horse we have in work at the moment, he is a gentleman. The second gelding is approx 16h and a stunning looking horse. Has a great nature and would suit jumping dressage etc in the hands of someone experienced with OTT horses. Both horses have retired sound and well. 11.01.2022 Currently looking to rehome - 5 yo gelding approx 16.1h - 5yo mare approx 15.2h Both nice types and friendly horses to suit low level showing or dressage, OTT classes.... Also looking to rehome 5yo gelding 16.1h with significant tendon trauma. Unsure if he will ever be sound but lovely nature and type.
10.01.2022 Retired yesterday. ‘Weston’ 7yo gelding by myboycharlie, approx 16.2-16.3h. Weston finished racing sound and only retired as he was no longer putting in 100% so owners would like him to have a new career. He has a strong and bold way of going, both on the ground and under saddle so will suit a confident rider to get the best from him. He has no real vices or issues but does push us little strappers around a bit... he is a friendly guy, he has a nice head and length of rein, a good mover.. would be nice enough to show and athletic enough to jump or event. Interesting horse for the right person.
01.01.2022 Throwing out feelers for this guy. He is a 7yo recently finished racing. Full of life, athletic, approx 16.1h . Needs to go someone looking for permanent competition horse and willing to sign contract.
