18.01.2022 After adding a second beautiful little girl to our family four months ago, it’s been really difficult finding the time and energy to do my craft. I’m slowly getting back into it (and loving it) and I figured if Coles can sell hot cross buns already then I can start some cute Easter themed creations! Here’s a little sneak peek at my latest creation! If you’re after something other than chocolate to gift this Easter... keep an eye out cause I may just have that special something!!

12.01.2022 I’ve had to put my Aussie animal project on hold for a little while as my little girls best friend is having a birthday soon and I’m making her a little something special!! So my work station looked a little different today! Normally I’m at my desk, cutting and sewing and stuffing. But today, as soon as I got my baby to sleep, I set up a wet felting station so I could make some felt balls to go in amongst the flowers on a Unicorn Headband! This is the first batch of felt ba...lls I have made so I’m sure practice will make perfect, but I’m pretty happy with how these turned out! Added bonus... my hands are very exfoliated! Keep an eye out over the next few days to see the finished product!!

12.01.2022 Ok guys, so this whole Australian animal/bird themed garland has become a little bigger than expected We just have way too many beautiful birds and animals every time I look one up as a reference, I see another that I want to include So I need your help!! I’ve decided to narrow it down to 6 animals and 6 birds... I’ve got the animals sorted (I think) but help me with the birds!! I definitely want to do a Sulpur-crested Cockatoo, Kookaburra and Galah but I can’t seem t...o narrow it down further. What I’m going to do is post a picture of each one I’m considering and I want you to vote (by liking the picture) of the other 3 you’d like to see on a garland!! Thanks everyone now get liking and help me decide which beauties to create!!

10.01.2022 Ok guys, I’m after some feedback on my Unicorn Headband! I’m wanting to know how much you would be willing to pay for this? Or even if you have any criticism that could help me improve it!! So some info about the product that may influence your opinion... ... The headband is metal, hand wrapped by me, with ribbon. Felt is high quality, made from merino wool. The ears, horn and each flower and leaf is stencilled, cut, rolled and sewn by hand (bar one flower and 4 leaves- I used a machine to cut). 10 felt balls all rolled by me. I have a method that I usually use for pricing (cost of product x 3) but I also know how much work went into this and the two don’t seem to mesh for this particular product. I’m considering making more to have for sale, but I need to try and work out if the price people are willing to pay will make it worth the amount of work. If that makes sense! Thanks in advance for your help everyone!!!
