Just a day after a Gold Coast family revealed their heartbreak after losing their 3-year old daughter to a button battery ingesti...on, all attendees at the AFL Grand Final in Brisbane were given a wrist band containing 2 fully charged lithium batteries. A shocked emergency paediatrician took just two seconds to expose the batteries, which, if swallowed by children can burn through tissues within hours. Warn others. 24.01.2022 Something exciting is happening at Enchanted Forest....... there have been lots of discussions about solar power and about how we can all be more environmentally responsible with our everyday practices.

24.01.2022 Our Kindergarten Children have recently been exploring the mystery of Hidden Rocks. They discovered that people all over the world are decorating rocks and hiding them in parks for others to find. It was with great excitement that we decided to join the craze and began painting our own rocks. The children will be hiding these in local parks with a message asking the finders to post on our EFEL Hidden Rocks Facebook page, where they have found our rocks. One of our rocks is ...currently in Bali and another will be heading to Japan soon. If you find one of our rocks in a local park, please post a photo on our page. 23.01.2022 Today we celebrated the tenth annual Read Aloud Day. Reading aloud with your child daily has so many benefits and is one of the most important things a parent or caregiver can do with children. Not only does it build a strong language foundation, it introduces vocabulary and can help develop empathy, curiosity and critical thinking. So please take the time, before bed, before dinner or first thing in the morning to add reading aloud into your days. #WorldReadAloudDay

23.01.2022 Our Murrumba Centre is right on track and we are super excited to see our fort under construction. Our cupboards are all in and painting will be started this week. If you are thinking about enrolling at Murrumba, we are holding a Meet and Greet tomorrow between 10am and 12pm at our Chermside centre. We hope to see you there.

22.01.2022 Two and a half years ago, the children at Enchanted Forest Chermside helped to plant the top of one of our pineapples that we had for morning tea. Did you know that it can take 2-3 years for a pineapple top to produce fruit? We were so excited in September last year to see our very first pineapple beginning to grow. Our children have displayed such love, care and patience as we look forward to tasting this very special fruit. Here at Enchanted Forest, we encourage our children to be just like a pineapple....to stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside!

21.01.2022 Over the past few weeks, both our Chermside and Murrumba Downs Centres held their Graduation Ceremonies for our Kindergarten children who, in 2021, will start a new journey in Prep. They were a night to celebrate all that the children have achieved and to share a special performance for their families. It was a little teary as we shared memories from some of our Chermside children who have been with us since they were babies and our first ever Murrumba graduates. We wish them all well for the future and can’t wait to see them in their school uniforms when they pop in to visit. To all of our Kindy families, thank you for sharing such an important time in your child’s life with us. You’ve all been a huge part of our little family.... Thanks for the memories xx

19.01.2022 Unfortunately we are still waiting on our service approval and confirmation of our opening date from the Early Childhood Education and Care - Department of Education who have re-scheduled to visit on Tuesday. Families are invited to come and have a tour or an orientation session at the centre next week. As the children grow, learn and become confident and strong, we feel privileged to be there for their journey. 13.01.2022 Our Murrumba Downs centre has had its visit from The Early Childhood Education and Care- Department of Education yesterday and it went extremely well. We are just waiting for our Service Approval to be granted so that we can actually open. Look out for updates and cross your fingers and toes for more news soon.

Kids That Go offer workshops as well as private sessions for not just toilet training, but many other services. They are located at North Lakes or Paddington.

07.01.2022 We would like to thank all of our families for the amazing support throughout 2020. We have achieved so much this year with the opening of our Murrumba Downs Centre and making it through COVID so far. We have also built some fabulous connections with our families and the wider community. 2020 was a year to not have everything you want, but to appreciate everything you have. A time when we realised how important family and friends are and you showed kindness and compassion for those who were doing it tough. 07.01.2022 We have been very busy at Enchanted Forest this week with many discussions around ANZAC Day and how we can remember a little differently this year. Our Children have been listening to stories and watching videos about the ANZACS and have come up with some great ideas on how they can show their respect and thanks.

05.01.2022 Our Murrumba Downs centre is welcoming visitors. Please feel free to pop in over the next week or two to say hi and pick up some enrolment forms, we would love to meet you. We are on track to open on the 20th January but have already filled one of our Nursery rooms. If you have already enrolled, please come in, say hi and confirm that you are ready to go. Or give us a call on 3204 6059.... (Please at this stage, only pop in if you are wanting to enrol ASAP. If you are wanting to enrol later in the year we would love you to come and visit after we officially open).

05.01.2022 The Children at Enchanted Forest were Sharing the love, creating big thank you cards for our local Doctors and Coles staff who are all working hard at this difficult time to make our lives a little easier. We would like to thank all of the Health workers, Emergency Services, Supermarket Shop Assistants, Teachers and Teaching staff around the country (Katie-3yrs said and all ober the whole wider world) for their continued work and for risking their own safety for all of us. 04.01.2022 Wow, the builders are really working hard! We have walls and windows at our Murrumba Downs Centre. Well on track for a January opening. We are holding a meet and greet at our Chermside centre (268 Hamilton Rd Chermside) on Sunday, December 1st between 10am and 12pm for any of our enrolled or interested Murrumba Downs families to meet us and to have a look at what we offer. We are so excited to meet you all!
