23.01.2022 My Little Girl is 27 today.... How the time flys. I feel myself holding little Ellie and I remember holding Emellia the same way and it only feels like yesterday. Where does the time go?... I remember my grandparents saying to their friends how time seams to go so fast. I remember thinking "Goes fast!, its ages until tea time!" We squeeze so much into everyday trying to keep our families fed and housed, and the days and weeks just fly by. You wake up one day and you look in the mirror and see this wrinkled face looking back at you and you wonder who this person is! Thats not me, I dont have wrinkles! But here I am, with a 27 year old little girl and 2 grandbabies that I adore! Its been 27 years of worry, listening for tears, wishing she can see her potential like we can. And now here she is, being a fabulous Mum to two gorgeous vivacious little girls, and scratching out her own career in photography and I could not be more proud of this woman!! Happy 27th Birthday Possy!!

19.01.2022 Just like that, my groom and I have been married for 31 years!!! We have squeezed alot into those 31 years! We've had 2 beautiful healthy babies and now have two gorgeous little granddaughters, we built a house that we still live in 20 years later. ... We both established our own careers and have been successful in them, working for ourselves for the majority of our marriage now and worked together for the last 4 years as partners! That's huge!! And even huger is that we are still married! Never thought Id see the day that I could work side by side with Stu without some kind of goal worthy offense! We've had some fabulous holidays to New Zealand, and hopefully soon many more overseas adventures. We've shared sports and hobbies. Our whole family won world titles in archery in 2006. We were all riding motorbikes at one stage before I came off one too many times in the garage and gave on that ridiculousness! We are both photographers and enjoy (Sometimes!) competing against each other in competitions. I'm giving up though because I don't win enough!! haha We've enjoyed going to balls and dancing the night away.... well, I've enjoyed going to balls and dancing the night away, Stu has allowed me to drag him along and then be the designated driver home!! We've loved and laughed, cried and triumphed together and I really dont think I could have found a better match for a life partner! I did good!!! Happy 31st Wedding Anniversary Stu!

They make us smile when we look at them and remind us that someone loves us....but then they start to die. ... How can we keep those gorgeous flowers for longer. You may recall the flowers we bought for Emellia when she had bub 2 weeks ago. They have been looking a bit average for a few days now, and today we had to bite the bullet. Emellia asked me "how can I still keep them"? The roses have dried quiet full and babies breath and thryptomene always dry nicely, so I used the twine that tied the tag to the birdsnest and made a little bouquet to keep in the China cabinet.
