20.01.2022 ~ My little girl and I // Wow, this took a lot to post this photo or better yet to start my project I have always dreamt of doing, documenting Motherhood. Maybe it is because I have only just become a mother myself, or the fact that we are in isolation so my brain started ticking over, thinking what will keep me inspired and motivated. Tomorrow my Mumma’s and Bubbas in isolation project begins and I thought it was only fitting for the first image to be of myself and my little isolation buddy, my daughter Iris. I will be sharing more mumma’s over on this account > @sofia__flinn If you wanted to follow along During this project I will be taking all the necessary measures to practice social distancing as all of my subjects are going to be inside their homes.

16.01.2022 So sad to hear about Beirut. These are some of my favourite film images we took. When we took a trip to Beirut in late 2018, we didn't know we were going to fall in love with the place as much as we did. The biggest highlight was the people, the kind, funny and extremely generous people. We did see a lot of suffering, the bullet holes on the buildings were confronting, most of the city was still being rebuilt, but we not once felt uneasy or worried for our safety. It was a magical place and it is very upsetting hearing the news today. I am thinking of you all @ Beirut, Lebanon

11.01.2022 ~ I have not posted in a while! It has been a bit of a crazy few weeks How is everyone going in ISO I do miss cuddles with my friends and loved ones that’s for sure It’s looking to be a very quiet winter for myself and many many others I am sure. Try to support local businesses, buy local when possible, check in with your elderly relatives and loved ones, organize a ZOOM chat, check in on your extrovert mates (they don’t know how to do this like us introverts do) and ju...st do your best. For me, I have been taking photos of my little girl of our day to day life at home, going for walks when my four walls seem to be closing in and of course editing all of my weddings. The only thing getting me through are the goals I have set myself to achieve in this quiet time. My heart bursts about 100 times a day and I don’t think I could love anyone or anything more than her. She makes us laugh with her cheeky facial expressions, she shows us kindness by sharing all her yum yums, she lets us know she is sad when she is not allowed to touch mumma’s plants, she shows us how clever she is when we read her favourite books and she tells us how much she loves us by her goodnight smooches Thank you for all of your kind words, support and kindness over the last year, motherhood is the best gig in the world.
