"They've had it tough, there's no doubt about that, especially the live arts industry," - Robert Mallett, Executive Director Small Business Council of Tasmania

Visit Northern Tasmania chief executive Chris Griffin said the arts were central to the Tasmanian experience... and have effects on other industries with people booking hotels, partaking in hospitality, or heading out to other events." Under the watchful eye of armourer John RA Green, the bloody revolutionary battles rang with authenticity of live gunfire, using very safe blank cartridges. Here we can see right across the stage, from just behind the Stage Managers char, across the live action to crew in the opposite theatre wing.... Directed by Belinda J King, Musical Direction by Denise Sam and Michael Stocks and Choreography by Jacquelyne France-Marsden, life and death on 19th century Parisian streets was played out at the Princess Theatre stage 16-31 March, 2018. 05.01.2022 SHOW AND TELL TUESDAY revisits 4-19 November 2011 for Encores production of ALLO ALLO at the Earl Arts Centre. Directed by Jamie Hillard and starring Ross Marsden (Rene). Matthew Garwood (Crabtree) and Solomon Walker-Bowd (Gruber), the production drew together an incredible ensemble of actors and managed to attract the attention of one of the shows original TV stars, Sue Hodge (who played Mimi), who flew in from a theatre engagement in Brisbane to lend a hand during final dress rehearsals. Of course, Sue has since starred with Encore in THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (Earl Arts Centre, 2014) and hopes to reunite with her Tasmanian friends when Encore once again have an opportunity to present this hilarious stage show.
