17.01.2022 A wonderful insight into ways our native animals love us! :)

16.01.2022 We must reconnect and fall in love again with the natural world if we want to save all our wonderous animals.

16.01.2022 One of the world's largest songbirds, and is renowned for its elaborate tail and courtship displays, and its excellent mimicry. This video was taken on 27th June 2020.

15.01.2022 Eastern Bettong Scientific Name: Bettongia gaimardi Family: Potoroidae Fun fact: They hop like a kangaroo when they are moving fast, but they travel on all fours when moving slowly, hence their nickname the 'tiny kangaroo' Conservation Status: ... The Eastern Bettong is highly threatened by feral cats and foxes, leading to their extinction on the mainland of Australia. Thanks to the ACT government, some Eastern Bettongs were able to bred and released into the wild. Sadly, due to the large population of foxes, those 67 Bettongs were not able to survive. If we can find a way to ensure that the foxes will not eat them, perhaps they will be able to live together in harmony. Please do share this around with your friends and family!

14.01.2022 The new website is not far away now... stay tuned... and in the mean time watching this is a must! :)

14.01.2022 https://youtu.be/XdNJ0JAwT7I go to 1:10 and ask yourself why we had the Mysterious deaths of Murray cod in 2019? whats changed with water rights? who benefits and who loses when rights to water are sold to irrigators over fish and river health?

14.01.2022 One more post for today: I am certain the news of the devastating fires in the south of Australia has reached you by now... Many of these places are dear to my heart for their Beauty and Wilderness. Its so important, in the midst of the many opinions about what responses we need for the future, to remember two important facts. We have lost approx 1 billion of our precious and unique animals.... if we love our animals and wish them to exisit in the future... we need Wilderness and lots of it... Trees, forests, Wilderness, all over the planet are the lungs of the Earth. the more we cut down the forrests, and use farmig methods that destory the soil the more we create problems in the atmosphere by adding CO2 to the atmosphere when this is the time to find as many ways as possible to take CO2 out of the atmosphere. If we continue to cut down our wilderness and continue the current rates of soil degradation both our agriculture and the Animals who need forests have no long term sustainable future. Our planet is a living system and we are all dependent and inter-dependent on one another, and on the natural world. We must all find ways to work together.. to sustain our beautiful home....all our animals need us to do that. See more

13.01.2022 Tasmanian Devils could heal our forests and help our Bettongs, Bandicoots and Pottoroos to flourish and protect the forests.
