23.01.2022 Change in Practice Hours Endodontics NQ is open for patient appointments/treatments and any enquiries Monday to Thursday 8:00am 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until 3:00pm every alternative week. Therefore, the dates during which our practice is open for patient appointments/treatments are as follows: 16th December to 18th December 2020 (14th and 15th December 2020 reception staff only available - 8:30am until 4:00pm)... Our practice including reception will be temporarily closed over the Christmas holiday period from Friday 18th December 2020 at 3:00pm. After this Christmas holiday period our practice will resume trading hours on Monday 18th January 2021 at 8:00am for patient appointments/treatments and any enquires every alternative week as follows: Monday to Thursday 8:00am 8:00pm and Friday 8:00am until 3:00pm 18th January to 22nd January 2021 1st February to 5th February 2021 15th February to 19th February 2021 Our friendly reception staff are still available every alternative non-appointment/non-treatment weeks at the following times to assist you with your enquiries: Monday Thursday: 8:30am 4:00pm We do apologise for any inconvenience our change in practice hours may case and appreciate your understanding and patience.

15.01.2022 Dr Quan Ho graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland Dental School in 2000. Following graduation, he spent the next 8 years working in both public and private general practice in Brisbane and London, during which he developed an interest in the field of endodontics. Quan returned to the University of Queensland and in 2008 he completed a three year Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics. On becoming a registered specialist endodontist, Quan commenced ...his own endodontic practice, Endodontics NQ, in Townsville (North Queensland) in 2009. Quan has lectured extensively on oral health at the University of Queensland and has presented continuing education lectures to members of the Australian Dental Association. Quan is a member of the Australian Dental Association (Queensland) and it’s North Queensland sub-branch, the Australian Society of Endodontology and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Outside of endodontics, Quan is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is married with two lively young daughters who keep the rest of his time occupied.

11.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE-WE ARE REOPENING WEDNESDAY 6TH APRIL 2020! We are delighted to advise that following the recent announcement by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) of the easing of restrictions on dental practice back down to Level 2, Endodontics NQ will re-open from Wednesday 6th May for all endodontic treatments and referrals. We will continue to maintain an exceptional standard of infection control at our practice each day. With the health of our s...taff, patients and the community in mind, we will continue to implement COVID-19 screening and distancing protocols as well as additional precautionary measures, which include: Screening questions before every appointment - if you have any flu-like symptoms or if you have had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, please advise our staff Staggering of appointment times to minimize patient contact in the waiting room Recommending that patients attend alone where possible or with minimal accompanying persons Alcohol hand sanitizer for patient use on arrival and prior to leaving the clinic Peroxide mouth rinse prior to dental examination/ procedures Use of a rubber dam in all procedures to minimize aerosol generation We are so pleased that as a community we have all done our bit to flatten the curve and we are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel! 03.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE - NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE In light of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee’s (AHPPC) recent advice to dental practitioners regarding Level 3 restrictions to practice as outlined in the ADA’s guidelines, we advise that Endodontics NQ will be temporarily closed from Friday 10th April 2020 until further notice. In compliance with the current level 3 restrictions, over the next week, Dr Quan Ho will only be completing treatments for patients in... pain and/or emergency patients. All other treatments and reviews will be deferred until we are advised by the health and regulatory authorities that it is safe to recommence providing endodontic care for our referrers and patients. Our top priority is our community’s health and keeping our team members, patients and loved ones safe during this crisis. Whilst we understand that this temporary closure is inconvenient, we all have a responsibility to the greater Australian community, and accordingly, we must accept the direction and guidance from Health and Regulatory Authorities. While Endodontics NQ is closed during this period, we will be unable to action any new referrals. We recommend that patients contact their regular dentist during this time. If you have trouble getting in touch with your dentist, you can access the Australian Dental Association website here and use their Find a Dentist directory that shows a comprehensive list of dentists by location. We understand that most of you, like us, have some very difficult months ahead as the lives of each and every one of us is impacted by the alarming spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). However, we are focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel and look forward to being able to provide endodontic care to all our referrers and patients as soon as it is deemed safe to do so by the relevant health and regulatory authorities.
