25.01.2022 Energy Connect was excited to sponsor and participate in the RUNDIPG Dive into the Pons event at Merewether Ocean Baths yesterday. We couldn't think of a better cause to get behind than the research of RUNDIPG, which is seeking new treatment for incurable children's brain cancer. 13.01.2022 Energy Connect is thrilled to be throwing our support and diving into the pool for a great fundraising event with RUN DIPG. RUNDIPG is an Australian charity, dedicated to improving outcomes of patients facing 'diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma' (DIPG). The event is called RUNDIPG Dives into the Pons. The Pons is the region of the brain stem that DIPG originates. Kids diagnosed with a high-grade glioma/brain cancer in the Pons only live nine months. Every year in Australia, 20... children will be diagnosed and die from DIPG. In recognition of each of those children diagnosed each year, we're sponsoring the event which will see a group of swimmers, including our own Mitch James, swimming a relay course of a total of 20 kilometres.
