18.01.2022 Nearly forgot to show you! Daisy's allergy rash is all cleared up and just left her skin a little dry, which will come good in a few days. We are in a shop so I can't show you her Tommy, but it is all better :) This week I will give her her constitutional remedy and life will all go back to normal. 15.01.2022 Thought I'd share a case with you today. This is my four year old daughter Daisy and these photos were taken at 7 o'clock this morning. She has had a few allergic reactions this summer and we have discovered that the main perpetrator is mango. It has only appeared on her face before but these photos are a result of scrumping our friends fallen mango tree with an all we can eat mango buffet. Up till that point I thought it was an ice cream allergy, but this has confirmed it to... be a mango (or mango ice cream) allergy. Stress and negative emotions aggrevate it further and no doubt, they were the original blow to chink her armor, so she will need a constitutional prescription too. Her reaction is purely on the skin, showing red and raised patches that are itchy and sore when scratched. With the help of the wonderful book written by my good friend Elizabeth Hughes - Your Body Has The Answer, Juniper essential oil helps to shift the symptoms. A few drops of Doterra Essential Oils in the diffuser and a drop on the soles of her feet is enough. As for remedies there are two that I am alternating. Apis 30c for all things red, swollen and angry looking and Histamine 30c which is the homeopthic version of an anti-histamine. It is something that I am wanting to ease quickly for her, so she is having hourly doses of both. I will post progress photos throughout the weekend and keep you up to date with her remedies. #childrenshomeopathy

11.01.2022 *Case Study* - I recently had a little boy brought to me as his behavior at school had deteriorated and his mum couldn't work out why. I had treated him 18 months ago and remembered him as a very easy going and bubbly 7 year old. He was now displaying anger towards his siblings and was finding anything difficult to focus on. His only physical change of symptom was a sty in his left eye that would come and go. I gave him Staphisagria based on his presenting symptoms and he ret...urned three weeks later for his follow up. His mum was amazed at his result and felt as though she had her son back again! In the days following his remedies he told him mum that he had been chastised by his grandad in public at the shops and although it was not physical or of an 'abusive' nature, he had felt shamed and violated by the event (another Staphisagria symptom). Incidentally his sty appeared 24 hours after the remedy but this time actually formed a head and released and has not returned since. If he had been given conventional medicine for that sty it would have been suppressed, forced back internally and the emotion that had caused it would have had to find somewhere else to vent and could be a lot worse. #homeopathyrocks #homeopathyletmeshowyouhow

(I tried panadol the night before and there was no difference!). 06.01.2022 Still improving but there is a marked difference between the reaction that was caused by the ingestion of the mango (from the inside out) which is on her face and lessening nicely, to the reaction that was caused on her tummy from the juice and her leg where she put a piece of the peel. The contact reaction patches are very raised, almost blistered and red so I have switched from Apis to Cantharis 30c. This remedy is great when there are blisters present and if the stinging intensifies with heat, which this is. Just had one dose so far so will let you know how it goes :)

03.01.2022 The difference between a chronic and an acute diseases. .. Hahnemann refers to the dynamic factors giving rise to them (acute or chronic diseases), and relates ...their temporal duration to the correction or persistence of changes in the vital force. Therefore, a disease is acute or chronic by its nature. .. Acute diseases are relatively short-lasting episodes of illness to which the body's own healing process can respond in due course and restore health without necessarily needing treatment or it is terminated with the death of the individual. .. Chronic disease is a different type of process. Instead of effective reaction to and correction of the disruption, there is ineffectual opposition that fails to rectify the disturbance. Hahnemann infers that a series of stimuli gradually disrupt the vital force in chronic disease and leave it weakened to such a degree that it no longer has the reserve needed to correct itself (the vital force resistance is imperfect Organon, aph. 72). .. We certainly could manage the symptoms of a chronic disease but doing so goes against the pronciples of holism. Wouldn’t it just be so much easier to deal with the underlying issues of an illness and address the root cause? .. This is what HOMEOPATHY does! 02.01.2022 Thank God for Homoeopathy! Thought i was going to die (dramaticlly) last night. Ok i had a bit of a food binge (all day) yesterday and when I went to sleep I fe...lt like I had food poisoning. Went to the loo with a cold sweat and not knowing which end something would come out, grabbed the Ipecac and within seconds felt the vomitting and nausea settle, then within minutes the cold sweat went. Proceeded to Nux Vomica and went back to bed. I am so Grateful for these little pills from nature. I dont know how I would of brought up my kids without them! 02.01.2022 Its hard to see from these pictures but the remedies have worked as expected. The redness (which was the first symptom) has lessened, leaving the swelling looking more pronounced. Homeopathy heals in the order that the symptoms appeared, reversing the effects. I will keep up her remedies, alternating Apis and Histamine 30c and will post a photo for you tomorrow morning.
