22.01.2022 The performance of this 12 year old system wasn’t lacking due to the high quality nature of components used including Sunpower panels on a Fronius inverter. Instead this system was suffering from a bird infestation that was becoming a safety hazard We decided since the system was still performing well the system didn’t need to be replaced rather re installed with a newer type of railing system that brought the panels higher off the roof and all facing down the roof to allow easier cleaning. Here’s the result, really shows the importance of maintaining your solar system even when its working fine.

11.01.2022 7.77kW Of Longi 370W panels on a Fronius Primo 6 Looking for a slightly higher sized system to cater for your energy usage. On a single phase property you may only be offered a 5kW inverter with 6.6kW of panels although, this size system whilst being export limited to 5kW in conjunction with the use of a Fronius smart meter we’re able to get live snapshot into how much electricity the house is using and more importantly how much solar your system is producing on your sm...artphone or computer The benefit of a higher than 5kW inverter we see from the hundreds of residential systems we’ve installed over the past decade is that whilst export is limited to 5kW your home baseload ie fridge/ freezer, pool pumps, electronic devices including internet modem etc. are always consuming electricity day/ night average we’re seeing average baseloads of 300W-600W. So if your limited to 5kW inverter you are only exporting 4kW back to the grid, whilst opting for a 6kW with 7.77kW of panels you can generate around 20% more energy and may be a factor to consider if your bills are pushing above the $500 a quarter. 04.01.2022 Once you realise the true savings a well installed high quality Solar system gives you keep on wanting more. This particular client had a 5kW system installed almost 8 years ago with Sunpower 327W panels. They understood what solar had done for their bills and were in the process of lining their shed for a home office and possible electric car We sat down and designed an expandable solar solution plan which included upgrading from single phase to 3 phase power to... the house and submains to the newly renovated shed. We first installed Fronius Symo 15kW inverter with smart meter along with 21 Sunpower 360w panels on the shed. We’ve then installed another 21 400W Sunpower Maxeon 3 panels on the house roof giving a total system size just over 20kW. Its safe to say this home now is an energy plus home that will easily be able to charge an electric car whilst keeping the home with no electricity bill. Future proof. If there’s two products we recommend it’s Sunpower panels on a Fronius inverter which go hand in hand for an industry benchmark in terms of warranty and performance. 03.01.2022 Throw back to a system we done just over a year ago. The aim was maximum solar and battery storage on residential home before technical standard 129 reduced the export capacity to 5kW per phase. Here are some of the Fronius solar inverters with a Goowe SBP which is a AC coupled battery inverter with 5kW uninterrupted power supply capabilities controlling 2 x LG chem RESU13 batteries.
