10.01.2022 Thanks to all our parents and families for supporting our Fathers Day Stall today. Big thanks especially to our Governing Council members for manning the stall, some of whom stayed all day to help out. Our voucher system also worked well and we’ve had some great feedback. Look out for this option on future stalls. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos so no sneak peeks for Dads trying to guess what their present might be. ... We had a very successful day and hope all the Dads, Grandads, Pops, Stepdads and Carers love their gifts as much as the children loved buying them.

06.01.2022 Today we are celebrating Reconciliation Day at EPS. The theme for this year is In this Together. This morning at assembly we had a flag raising and opening ceremony. A friend of the school, Jaiya, gave the Welcome to Country acknowledgement. Celestine, who is one of our parents, and her daughter Alexis volunteered their time to give presentations to our students about Aboriginal culture, traditions and customs. With the Upper Primary students they also discussed how racis...m affects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Within their classes the students also participated in activities such as stick weaving, dot painting and discussions about what Reconciliation means to them. We also used traditional Aboriginal music including didgeridoo’s for our return to class music. Thank you to Cele, Alexis and Jaiya for helping us today and sharing your knowledge.

02.01.2022 Just a bit of a heads up to new and prospective families. We are sorry that we are unable to run our planned school tours due to Covid-19 restrictions this term. We would like you to have as much information about school life at EPS as possible. We encourage you to read our parent information book and also have a look at our website https://www.enfieldps.sa.edu.au/ . Parents and Caregivers are also welcome to call the school office to book a time for a phone chat with a senio...r staff member or, if required, a face to face meeting. We are continuing to plan for pre-entry visits for children enrolled in Reception for 2021. These will be held on Thursday mornings of weeks 5, 6 and 7 in term 4. Early next term, formal invitations will be mailed to families who have submitted their completed enrolment forms and required documents. Please make sure you have submitted your enrolment form so your child can take part in pre-entry visits next term in readiness for a smooth transition to school life.
