21.01.2022 Remembrance Day is an extremely poignant day, no more so than in 2020. We acknowledge, we thank and we will always remember the extreme sacrifices of Australian men and women for our freedom. Lest We Forget.

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Today is Wear It Purple Day, a day to celebrate diversity and promote the creation of supportive, safe and empowering environments for LGBTQ+ young people. This year’s theme is ‘We are the change’, and Engadine High has a plethora of dedicated students and teachers who will continue to fight for the rights and inclusion of ALL of its students, no matter their gender or sexuality. We are so proud of our legacy and history and we are unapologetic of the stance we... take. Previously, Engadine High has gone all out in celebrating the inclusion of our LGBTQ+ identifying students, and since becoming the first school in the Sutherland Shire to recognise this important day, our celebrations have grown with a concert, bake sale, flower drive and student zine every year. With the formation of our Queer Straight Alliance at the beginning of the year, we endeavour to recognise this day with a renewed, and stronger than ever sense of togetherness. Due to the current restrictions imposed by Covid, a smaller celebration took place, however we fully intend on having a huge celebration at the beginning of next term and continuing to support this fabulous community. Stay posted for more information. We can’t wait to celebrate Wear It Purple! We are the change. From the QSA Team and everyone at EHS
