24.01.2022 Despite the challenges of 2020, we kicked a number of goals and produced a heap of great content for our fantastic clients delivering positive change across a variety of industries from government to tourism, and from education to aged care. 16.01.2022 Today is World Tourism Day when we reflect on the political, cultural and economic value of the tourism sector. This year, the theme is Tourism and Rural Development, celebrating the unique role tourism plays in providing opportunities outside of big cities and preserving cultural and natural heritage. Our work with Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) is a great example of how a tourism campaign can effect positive change. In the months that followed our ‘Answer the call of Vanuat...u’ brand launch, visitor numbers increased by 19%. That’s a huge shift considering that travel and tourism accounts for roughly half of Vanuatu’s GDP. What makes this achievement all the more special is knowing that the benefits are shared by all from the city hotels and restaurants to remote Ni-Vanuatu communities. Hot on the heels of our Bushfire Fundraiser and our Thank Your Mailman Day, the Engine Group team have been busy donating some gift packs to the Children's Hospital Foundation.
