25.01.2022 How well do YOU wash your hands? My sister who is a nurse, has taught my 7 year old how to do a nurses hand wash. She explained it to me. I will admit, l hadn't thought about the thumbs...but it makes sense.... Nurses Handwash Wet your hands, add soap. Rub the area between the pointer finger and thumb against the same area on the other hand to clean around your thumbs (we use our thumbs A LOT) Rest one hand OVER the other. Rub the fingers against each other. (Between the fingers) Swap the hands over - top hand to bottom and repeat. Wash around the wrist of one hand with the other... swap hands over. Wash the hands all over rub together etc. Rinse and dry.

13.01.2022 Using disinfectant on a dirty surface isn’t effective,. Using hand sanitizer on dirty hands isn’t effective- using too much hand sanitizer could affect your skin... remember your skin is porous and absorts what you put onto it. Use soap and water, and wash your hands whilst singing happy birthday through twice (it really made me realise that I wasn’t doing a great job myself - l don'tgenerally later my hands enough before rinsing). If you have our ENJO dishwashing liqui...d, you can use a single drop of that to wash your hands with - it’s pure soap. How are you doing with your regimes? Remember out laundry liquid, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher liquid is all available online. As usual we have the smaller sample packs, and the bigger bottles... to help reduce packaging waste.
