08.01.2022 ? Henna is a natural permanent dye taken from the leaves of the henna plant, Lawsonia Inermis. When applied to the brows it is absorbed into the skin cells, so the thicker the skin, the darker the stain can develop. On the hair, henna is absorbed by the keratin and absorbed into the vortex of the hair creating a long - lasting stain. Henna can take 12-48 hours to reach it full colour potential and will generally last on the skin 2-7 days and up to 3-4 weeks on the hair. Using AHAs, vitamin a or other skin resurfacing products will shorten the life of the stain due to the increased skin cell turn over. Henna is great for people with thinning or sparse brows. ?

02.01.2022 In salon our hygiene standards are already super high, I want you to be rest assured that we are taking it to the next level during this period. Unfortunately all of the comfy covers on the bedding is being removed today for extra precaution, hand sanitiser and masks are available upon request. I will also continue to wear my mask during all appointments If you have any upcoming appointments that you cannot attend or need to change I ask that you do that as soon as you can please! I know this is very uncertain times for everyone, as it is for myself and family. Thank you for your ongoing love and support xx

01.01.2022 Do you ever wonder why we tell you that you need regular infills even if your lashes are still looking fine? This is why! This is the amount of grown out lashes that I took off during an infill. When these grown out lashes are left attached for an extended period of time they will become a little unruly and harder to brush. It can also put pressure on the hair follicles as the top heavy weight of the extension can twist the natural hair around - this can also be painful ... So moral of the story if you get to the week of your infill and it’s already been 3 weeks and you think to yourself ‘they still look pretty full, i might push it out a week’ - please for the health of your natural lash don’t! Have you had the grown out ones I’m talking about?
