24.01.2022 Just like that we are two weeks into our term!! It has been wonderful having our studios & corridors full again of all our beautiful students & their families, we definitely missed you over the break!! We give a huge warm welcome to the many new faces we have at our studio this year, we are so excited to work with you & help achieve all your dancing dreams ... 20.01.2022 A beautiful choreography that was choreographed by Jade for her Stage 2 Dance assessment that involved Bree & Lily. It was lovely to see the 3 girls work so well together, and it’s fantastic to see Jade’s ability to choreograph continue to develop! We cannot wait to see where her dance journey takes her now she has completed Year 12

16.01.2022 Looking for something to do these school holidays? Want to try dancing but not sure how to start? Envy Dance are offering 5 different holiday classes to each age group of junior & senior students!! Kicking off this Tuesday the 12th & happening again on the 19th, join us for a day of dancing fun!! ... $10 a class or $40 for all 5, come and meet some friendly faces, our teachers and see what we’re all about!! Anything from a stretch class to a ballet class or even an acro class! Come & have a look!! After the year that we have had I have to say a huge thank you to all the amazing students, families extended families, friends and staff at our wonderful studio The ongoing support throughout such and unpredictable year has built our studio and enabled us to achieve so much during the tough times.... 09.01.2022 Dance Teacher - CHANEL DIMUCCIO Chanel is our second dance teacher we have at Envy Dance Studio, primarily teaching our Junior Jazz/Lyrical, Under 12 Jazz & Contemporary, Under 16 Competition team, our new technique classes & partnering with Tamara this year to take on our new Elite small group competition team. Chanel will also be expanding her creativity and teaching our new Lyrical Combo class, as well as our Monday night stretch class also. Chanel is also super excited ...to be working with some new soloists and duo partners this year, we have no doubt she will create some very fitting pieces for the students! Chanel’s training and experience in multiple styles motivated her career into the dance field. Having experience in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Cheerleading, Acrobatics, Gymnastics and Singing, Chanel’s versatility brings knowledge from all around the dance industry. Commencing teaching at Envy Dance Studio in 2017 with Acrobatics, Jazz & Contemporary, Chanel’s favourite styles include Jazz, Contemporary & Hip Hop across a variety of ages. Not only teaching beginners, Chanel has an active role in shaping our competition teams. Her experience not only competing around Australia but her 12 months of training in Geelong has shaped her into the attentive and persistent teacher she is. Having her beginners qualification in Gymnastics and currently studying her Certificate V in Dance Teaching & Management, Chanel continues to push the students abilities and build the camaraderie throughout our competition teams. ‘I have always wanted to live out my dream as a dance teacher after completing years of dance training, and the fact I have been given the opportunity to do that and work with the amazing students I do, is so rewarding. I am super proud of our 3 girls Bree Robinson, Amelia Clark & Matilda Clark who danced for the first time this year & even were successful with winning some trophies & ribbons BREE ROBINSON: HM Contemporary, HM Lyrical, 1st Character & 1st Classical & 2nd Jazz ... MATILDA CLARK: Star Award Jazz & Lyrical AMELIA CLARK: HM Contemporary, HM Lyrical, 3rd Jazz, 3rd Broadway, 1st Classical, 3rd Champ Dancer & an extended congratulations to Amelia for being awarded Encouragement Award!! It was even beautiful to see some of our other students come out and support their friends #envyrepresent @fydcomps #envydance

06.01.2022 WE ARE BACK! We are super excited to welcome everyone back for term 3! Please remember hand washing and sanitising are still required upon entry. With restrictions easing and in compliance with our current COVID safe plan we can now allow parents upstairs for collection of students however please be mindful that there are still rules we must abide by and limited numbers allowed. 04.01.2022 We are so lucky to have such motivated, hard working teachers that we are going to be introducing them over the next 4 days for all of our families and wider community, understanding their place in the studio for 2021. Director/Principal of Envy Dance Studio - TAMARA KILSBY Tamara is our head dance teacher, primarily teaching every ballet level we offer at Envy Dance... - Tinies, Pre-Primary, Primary, Prep Level 1, & Levels 1,2,3,4 & 5. Also teaching our Acrobatics classes, Tap classes and has a huge involvement with our U16 Competition team, Elite small group & technique classes. Tamara also works with an abundance of soloists and duo partners, creating memorable routines for each of them. Tamara has always had a love for dance and the attributes and qualities it develops, not only in the physical gain, but the traits and morals that evolve from its discipline. Her love for classical ballet partnered with years of exams, competitions, workshops and experiences across the dance industry helps provide a vast amount of knowledge and insight into what dance can provide not only for those looking to build their own career but interested in personal growth and friendships that are created along the way. Having completed all grade level Royal Academy of Dance classical ballet exams up to, including R.A.D advanced foundation, Tamara’s classical ballet training builds a very strong foundation and understanding of classical technique and its importance among all styles. Interest in anatomy and muscle development aids in the broadening of her skill and creating a well understood platform for students to learn from as they seek a deeper comprehension of their ability. Completing Tap exams through the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance including her public examination has also aid in this knowledge. Having completed her teachers training through Ballet Conservatoire and currently studying her Certificate V in Dance Teaching & Management, Tamara strives to provide an environment that not only creates successful dancers but builds friendships, confidence, and encourages a balance of lifestyle & self belief. Please make sure you are up to date with all rules and regulations going into this week through the emails sent out or the latest post on the band app. ... We ask you to please abide by all the signs and directions provided throughout the studio and remember if you are unwell please take the time to rest at home. We can’t wait to see you all!

01.01.2022 HAPPY SUNDAY! Which only means one thing... We are one sleep away from our start date for our 2021 dancing season! This year we are definitely walking in feeling very grateful to be able to use our facility & continue to give many opportunities to our dancers. For 2021, we want our dancers to keep striving for their goals, find the good in every situation & push themselves out of their comfort zones. ... Last year proved to us all that anything we care about & love can be taken away from us at any time so with saying that, we are going to further encourage our students to always remain positive & thankful Starting a fresh year also means we ask that our parents read thoroughly on the ‘Policies & Procedures’ page which was attached to our enrolment package. These are a few things we ask from our families to ensure your children gain the full effect of dancing at Envy. Uniform, attendance, & arrival/departure are very important matters to read about so please take extra notice when reading. As we are sure many of our students are very excited to return to dancing this week, we are just as excited!! So much preparation & team work has gone in to make sure this year is a successful one for all involved at Envy Dance Studio.
