24.01.2022 Do you know about the Global Goals for Sustainable Development? "In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone." I connected with this initiative in its early days, and was really inspired by the philosophy... and activism being driven by this bunch of amazing global leaders. These goals helped me develop a clear direction for my Vision and linked my work into the "bigger picture". Which of the 17 goals resonate with you?

22.01.2022 These gorgeous young women are Year 12 students from Comet Bay College. Theyve been hanging out with me at Sarah's Circle Holistic HUB for the last 10 weeks on workplacement as part of their Cert III in Events course. I love supporting young people in our community gain important work skills and these girls did a brilliant job! Thank you Angelina, Claudia and Shanna Im going to miss you

20.01.2022 Comment by candidate at last nights Group Interview I facilitated for my client: I wasnt sure what to expect but this was the most professional interview process Ive ever been through. Why was this feedback extra special?... Because the interview was conducted in an automotive mechanics workshop. An environment that is not often associated with professional even though it ought to be. Regardless of the physical environment, the professional image actually started with the communication leading up to the interview. By the time this particular candidate arrived at the premises, she was already wanting to align herself with the business. Even for the candidates that miss out on this position, their first impression of the business will be a positive one and they will be talking about their experience over the coming days and weeks with family and friends. This experience was a win/win for everyone involved! 05.01.2022 Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) hosted an inspiring event at Riff powered by Spacecubed last night. Jan Owen, CEO of FYA shared interesting insights on the New Work Order and statistics around the reality of work and career for young people and the ecosystem that supports them eg employers, schools, Unis, government etc We also heard from Nathanael Foo and Darren Lomman, two young men who are alumni of the FYA Young Social Pioneer program. ... Keeping up to speed with the New Work Order allows me to guide and support my clients more effectively and ensure their relevance as employers.
