25.01.2022 In Europe and many countries in the world, families and friends gather in November to celebrate and share the memories of their loved ones. In some cultures people visit the places of burials, while in others long festival activities are hold. This year on the 1 November community members are invited to gather at the Park at Old Witta School Hall - see the flyer for more details - to acknowledge and share the memories of their ancestors and loved ones. During special ceremo...ny everyone will have an opportunity to share the name of their loved ones with all community members. We will decorate a Memory Tree with photos and drawings, wishes and poems, as well as flowers and plants. We will celebrate and honour those whose lives were part our lives. We will grow through shared love and reverence. We hope this ceremony will be the first of many to acknowledge grief and connection with those who have passed. It will be led by Agnieszka Swiatlowska, Jacinta Foale and Lysanne de Graaf, who are passionate about the community and exploring new ways of honouring the live of all its members, passed and present. Come by yourself, with a family or a friend, but please join us!

22.01.2022 I would like to share with you feedback I received after Dying to be born workshop from one of the participants, Claire Frances. I can only agree with Claire, it woud be not only great, but healthy for the western cultures, to see death being acknowledged and celebrated as birth. Thankyou Claire for your presence and time to share with us. "What a wonderful workshop this was - thank you warmly Agnieszka Swiatlowska and Lakshmi. There is so much fear around death (I know I have a lot!), it was wonderful to be able to talk openly about this yesterday. Thank you for providing space for this and helping me to step into the fear. It would be wonderful to see this grow within western culture and for death to be acknowledged and celebrated as highly as birth. There was a lot of comfort for me in the talking and sharing yesterday"
