25.01.2022 Today we took our brave little Omar to have a fresh haircut down at the local barber. We went shopping and bought some new clothes for the upcoming Islamic celebration, EID We also picked up a few books to improve his concentration, develop stronger vocabulary, strengthen concentration and promote bonding! Overall, its safe to say it was a good day!

24.01.2022 Over the weekend, all muslims around the world celebrated a special religious holiday they call Eid Al-Adha! Its a day where muslim families gather together to eat traditional food and dress up in their new outfits! This year, Omars mum worked alone side one of our amazing support workers to custom design these amazing tops to raise awareness about A U T I S M! I think its safe to say, although it wasnt traditional, they definitely won best dressed! I am so proud to have clients like this! They not only embrace his condition and help him continuously but assist others by raising awareness and providing support! As a community, we should always support one another as everybody is fighting their own battle!

23.01.2022 We took Sam out to the beach today for a picnic where he developed his social and communication skills. We gave Sam a budget and asked him to pick out a few things at Coles to create a cute picnic for 2! Sam was able to advance his life skills through these real life experiences such as handling money! I cant wait to see your journey!



23.01.2022 Omar turns 6 ! We created SENSORY BAGS (not lollies ) for the beautiful children! Whatttt!!!!... Sensory?! I know! We can not express how happy we are to know that the kids absolutely loved it! We would like to personally thank @the_cookie.lab for creating these amazing cookie packs for the kids to do!! Such a creative idea! . Happy Birthday to our prince, Omar! Thank you for letting us be a part of your PJ MASK birthday party!

22.01.2022 Sam is a young and talented boy! He manages to surprise us with his amazing art skills every week! This week we took Sam to office works to begin his next goal! He drew up some amazing artworks which we printed and discussed what he wanted to do with them! Sam is now an entrepreneur to say the least! He is working on his next project and we are behind him all the way!! STAY TUNED!

20.01.2022 Over the long weekend, Mohammed really wanted to try a local cafe! We took him for breakfast at Cafe Roman, where he was encouraged to read the menu and order himself! Here at EVA, we strive to build up our clients confidence and continuously develop their everyday life skills!

19.01.2022 We would like to say SORRY National Sorry day is an annual day of remembrance in Australia to acknowledge the injustice experienced by members of the stolen generation. It is held every year in May 26th. Today gives people a chance to come together and share the steps towards healing for the stolen generations, their families and communities.

17.01.2022 School holidays are all about learning through play. They engage in bowling, laser tag and mind blowing arcade games! They developed their communication skills, took on challenges, self-directed engaged learning, critically analysed situations and made connections between theories and real life situations! This allowed the children to progress and develop their independence, preparing them for real life scenarios! ... 17.01.2022 A 32 year old male, Iyad was killed in cold-blooded murder. Iyad has Autism and worked at a school which catered for children with special needs. This is truly heartbreaking. As a community, we need to do what we can to raise awareness on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)! Autism is a serial development disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. It is proven that 1 in every 160 children have been diagnosed with Autism. ... Stop the S T I G M A ! We need to work together to support our community and assist individuals with Autism to feel comfortable to convey their unique talents and strengths in our world !

16.01.2022 Monday morning brunch with our sweetheart Rima! Rima enjoyed her morning coffee in the sun with her favourite support worker! We made breakfast and chatted about her progress and daily life! Interacting with others enhances mental health, increase self-esteem, increases cognitive function and reduces the risk of developing depression! We strive on making sure our clients come first to ensure their happiness!

It also gives children a sense of autonomy, provide structure and routine, encourage confidence, build independence and avoid frustration! We put up visuals around the house to begin the journey!

12.01.2022 Philippe, throughout the last few weeks I have watched you grow up so much! From developing communication skills to fine motor skills. They say time flies when youre having fun! Philippe and I worked on our very own discovery garden, Garden therapy for children has been proven to have effective benefits such as improving memory and focus, encourage them to eat healthier, builds a sense of confidence, relieves stress and positively impacts mood and psychological well-being!

09.01.2022 SENSORY BOARD #1 We built this sensory board to help our clients develop their gross motor skills , stimulate their brain by creating neurological pathways to improve their neural processing system, improve communication, improve coordination and calm them down when they feel agitated! Lets just say, I enjoyed it just as much as the kids!

07.01.2022 Phillippe and I baked SPIDER-MAN cupcakes! We had such a fun time baking and learning about measurements! Phillippe learnt to read and follow a recipe as well as learn about different measurements such as grams and cups! Im so proud of you! I cant wait to see you continue to grow! You are such an amazing young boy! You always manage to surprise me with your witty comments and humour!

Equal Vision Australia is a service provider by NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) that specialises in core supports. We liaise with clients with all types of disabilities providing detailed homecare services. Whats the job role? As a support worker you will engage in: - Assisting clients with disabilities with their day to day tasks and activities - Transporting clients - Cleaning and Household tasks - Providing community access - Individual/group focused activities - Following plan management - Leading clients to an independent life - Improving quality of life for those with disabilities About you? Our Company deal with moderate to highly disabled clients that are in need of a lot of care and attention. We are looking for highly enthusiastic workers who are compassionate and have a can-do attitude. It is vital that you are understanding and display a great sense of listening. We are preferably looking for workers with a minimum certificate III in Disability or hold an equivalent/related qualification. However, this is not a requirement. 04.01.2022 National Palliative Care Week this year will be held from Sunday 24th of May to Saturday 30th of May. During this time, we hope to spark important conversations in the community about the amazing benefits of quality palliative care and celebrate the amazing dedication of all those working and volunteering in palliative cafe across Australia! What is Palliative Care Palliative care is an approach that improve the quality of life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life-threatening illnesses, through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other physical, psychosocial and spiritual care!

02.01.2022 In the last week of term, EVA donated 300 cupcakes and cookies to help fundraise at Granville Public School! We assisted raise awareness for mental health! We aim to get rid of the negative stigma of mental health. Every 1 in 6 Australians currently suffer from either anxiety or depression or both! We would like to raise awareness and show that together we are stronger!
