23.01.2022 Hollywood and Don travelled up to Newcastle yesterday for a very important job. To meet Rita Meredith. When Rita was in her early 20’s she was a police office...r in the United Kingdom. After 2 years of service she decided to try the Mounted Police. She was the first female Mounted Police Officer in the UK!! Rita Meredith nee Browning is currently quite unwell and is not expected to return home. She is spending her days in hospice care in Newcastle. Her main wish before she passed was to smell or see a horse for one more time. Rita’s friend contacted us to grant Rita’s last wish. We travelled to Newcastle yesterday to see Rita and make her wish come true. Hollywood and Don made Rita’s day. There were plenty of tears shed and beautiful memories made.

14.01.2022 To all my amazing clients. A few big changes has happened in the last fortnight incl me (finally) selling my farm. After much consideration I have decided to go back to the Netherlands for a while (while I’m homeless ) to spend some much needed time with my family who are going through a hard time at the moment due to covid. And hopefully to get some hiking in as well. My plan is to return in a few months but it all depends on flights and where the world is going. ... Most of you have met Andrea who has been part of my team since last year. She has offered to cover for me while I’m away so none of you would have to miss out on trims. She also has her own clients and because this all happened rather quick she’ll need a bit of time to adjust and get organised. She has all your details and will get in touch with you over the next few days to organise trimming runs, etc. Please be patient with her while things are transitioning. It will also take her up to a few trims to get to know your horse and his/her feet. We will still look after you!!! Things have happened rather quick and I haven’t been able to tell you all in person. I’m so sorry!!! If you need to get in touch with me for whatever reason, please do so by email or fb as I won’t be using my Australian mobile number while overseas. I’ll leave you all in Andrea’s very capable and knowledgeable hands, take care and I’ll see you all when I get back.
