24.01.2022 Winter is the most Yin time in Chinese Medicine. it is dark, cold, slow, inward energy. Ideally this means our activities in winter should represent the season meaning that we need to slow down and feed ourselves both physically and mentally. We should be looking at going to bed earlier and sleeping later and eating foods that are naturally available during this season such as potatoes, root vegetables, mushrooms and apples with longer and slower cooking methods to help ...infuse heath within our food. 17.01.2022 I have been thinking about the importance of taking the time to slow down and have patience and trust. Today I have had a few people who rescheduled leaving me with a few hours free that I could fill up with other clients and paperwork but instead today I just decided to stop and lock the door . With sickness effecting myself or the children these last few weeks and time seemingly rushing past me always filled with busy work and the next box to check off the to do list I fi...nally realised that all I need is some TIME. It was sad to loose my room at the Salt Sanctuary thanks to COVID but luckily I was able to find a temporary home at Zing Massage Therapy Cleveland (Thank you Angela).
