25.01.2022 Some of our senior boys play for Bassendean Junior Football Club, we braved the weather and had a win. Congrats guys.

23.01.2022 This week we celebrated the students Awards and Presentations in the under cover area at school. Because of COVID19 we could not have the usual visitors, special guests and families attend. It was a lovely celebration concluded with a special lunch and games.

21.01.2022 Intro to Move and Muster today on Farm. The students learnt about low stress moving on horse back. Our conclusion at the end was the cattle were easier and more level headed than the sheep that we chose to move with in the paddock. Learning about pressure, communication, teamwork, reading livestock stress levels. Yes it was hot and sweaty but we all enjoyed the afternoon ! Horses, Students and Miss Ros

19.01.2022 The staff participated in Professional Development today, which included several stops on the College Farm. We were very lucky to blessed with warm sun on a winters day, and amazing company as discussed our Faith and traditions at ERC.

17.01.2022 The Perth, Peel and South West lockdown does not include our Shire, as we are located in the Wheatbelt. The official checkpoint has been set up next to the Chittering Roadhouse. Anyone wishing to travel through the checkpoint needs to provide the necessary proof that they are exempt from travelling through the area (G2G app). Tomorrow we expect new students and year 12's to attend school for Induction day. With everyone starting their first day Wednesday. Although we are not in lockdown, the safety of our community is always a priority. We remind students, parents, staff and visitors to keep up hand washing, hand sanitiser, and follow social distancing guidelines.

17.01.2022 We enjoyed a day out watching the boys play football, sampling yummy chocolate at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory, and then shopping at Midland.

16.01.2022 Today we had some lovely Police officers from Gingin come to talk the students. They stayed all afternoon, visiting the Boarding houses and letting the students look in their cars. They stayed for dinner and played basketball with the Boarders. Thank you to the Police officers for a wonderful, positive experience.

15.01.2022 The Year 12 class of 2020 celebrated this morning. They were presented with their Year12 sashes and guided out by the other students in a guard of honour. They then planted a tree in the grotto so we can one day sit under it and reflect.

15.01.2022 Basketball started again Friday night in Bindoon.

14.01.2022 The Cattle Clubbers finally talked me into starting after school today. We worked with the weaned R calves (approx 6mths old). Treated an older cow’s sore hoof and started a big Cattle Club area cleanout. It is all go for 2021 after a quiet 2020.
