17.01.2022 *** A little moment of sharing **** 2020 is already known for a lot of crazy stuff.. but it’s also known to me as my 23rd year working in media I have been SO fortunate to work with incredible people and have had amazing experiences in so many areas so far! While I’ve spent a huge part of it on camera with Sydney Weekender, I have also worked as a producer on the Commonwealth Games, written radio and tv scripts, produced and presented drive and morning radio shows, was no...minated as best director at the Golden Guitar Awards and have negotiated millions of dollars in brand sponsorship contracts for Network Television. Sounds hectic I know! Ha ha But all of it combined has taught me SO much about people, content and brand marketing. Now, I am so excited to share with you something I’ve been working on since the end of last year that combines years of experience and my love of stunning film making. 09.01.2022 What a great way to kick off the year. I was honoured to be the keynote speaker once again at Macquarie University’s Leadership Forum. I spoke with the students about authentic communication and how having a strong internal foundation around who we are, can lead to honest and effective communication. Before I began, I had a walk around the very large lecture hall to see the view from the audience’s perspective. I like having this space before hand to remember my goal whenev...er I speak. It’s never to talk AT people, it’s always to be WITH people and offer up new ways in which to view yourself and others and hopefully offer some tools as to how to communicate in a positive way.
