23.01.2022 A break in the weather this week meant we finally got to get out and about and spend sometime at the park.

23.01.2022 Have you considered family daycare as an option? Family daycare offers childcare in a small group setting which allows me to spend quality time with your child and cater the to their interests and needs. For information on availability of care and more about me please feel free to get in touch.

21.01.2022 My first attempt at making play dough and it has been a hit for the last two days.

18.01.2022 Fun facts we learnt about worms

15.01.2022 This will be the third week that the service has been up and running and I already have two great children in care. I still have spaces available Monday to Friday if anyone needs care for their child.

13.01.2022 We’ve had a couple of nice days this week which meant we took the opportunity to get out and about. Yesterday we visited the park in Ulverstone to get our daily physical activity and today it was to go for a walk to find the fairies and admire nature.

10.01.2022 Learning experiences that the service can provide include story time for language development, bikes for gross motor skills and toys for social development and role playing.

09.01.2022 The registered areas of the home

08.01.2022 This week we checked out How Bazaar at the East Devonport Recreation Centre. While there we learnt how we can change the colour of flowers, that capsicums are a fruit and not a vegetable, looked at star fish and a couple of us even braved holding a snake (unfortunately I don’t have photos as I was trying not to freak out too much).

07.01.2022 Are you looking for care for your child or know of someone who is looking for childcare I still have spaces available most days of the week. Please contact me for further information or to discuss your requirements.

04.01.2022 Some of the books we read this week. Plenty of favourite ones in there. Piranha’s don’t eat bananas is Elsie’s pick.

04.01.2022 With the weather mostly rainy of an afternoon this week the play dough was pulled out. Some may think it’s just play dough however it provides children the chance to develop hand control, use their creativity (play dough can become anything), interact socially and share with other children. But most importantly it is fun.

02.01.2022 While out at the park yesterday we came across a couple of worms at the play equipment. One little girl had some questions about worms so today we are going to research some fun facts about the little guys. We did also move them back to an environment that they might appreciate more.

01.01.2022 On Wednesday’s adventure to the bluff we took time to look at the plants and trees of the area. We used our walk not only stretch our legs and get our physical activity levels up it also allowed us to compare the shape, size, colour and feel of the leaves.

01.01.2022 Yesterday we headed down to Pioneer Park and the Road Safety Park while there we found some ducks. They were left behind for people to find as part of The Little Yellow Duck Project. So last night I jumped online to the website to log our ducks on the world map.
