22.01.2022 SMALL but BIG This was a while back but still brings a smile to my face... A slice of paradise in Bronte NSW. A Heritage listed Semi Refurbishment on the most amazing block that was literally no wider than 6m but over 100m deep ! And the garden was just lush, green and wild !...the Simple Brief, open up our living space and let the sun shine in, a new kitchen and a nice deck. We simply framed the most amazing back drop with a 3D picture frame as such using Western Red Cedar b...attens that directed your eyes to the garden and then let nature do all the rest ! We are looking for a new team member to join our unique design and construction business .This role is ideal for a final year or graduate carpenter with sound residential experience or a person who is studying Construction part time and wishing to take on a role as a junior site supervisor but also has good hands on construction experience. There is something quite satisfying when we make a conscious environmental design choice about materiality and the outcome for this project was just incredible. Designed by an owner/architect, the process was collaborative from day one and a real learning experience for us.
