Saturday 5th September @ 4.30pm Gerringong Town Hall Tickets: $2-10 per person (all proceeds will be donated) Ages: 15+ To book: https://events.humanitix.com/navigating-life-s-challenges-w About: Through her experience as a teacher, counsellor and working in death and loss, Maggie has an extensive background in the area of resilience in a theoretical and practical sense. In this community workshop, she will explore some of the key differences in dealing with loss and trauma for different age groups and genders. These sessions will help build understanding and the ability to cope with the unwanted roller coaster of emotions and experiences that occurs when a community has faced tragedy and challenge in whatever form it arrives. Steps to recovery will also be explored. Ticket pricing: Pay what you can. All ticket proceeds will be donated to a local charity to support mental wellness in the Illawarra. Please note: Due to COVID restrictions, we are unable to have more than 60 people in the venue and everyone will be required to sign in on arrival. We will also aim to have the event streamed online.
