25.01.2022 Congratulations to Phil "Bluey" Williams, Kim Seinor and Terry Rance on winning the clubs Triples Championships. The team came back from losing their first game and also toughing out trying conditions to make the final against Rod Whitehead, Frank Beccarelli and John "China" Chapman. The game was really close early with both teams playing some really exciting bowls. Bluey and his men got on top around the half way point to to eventually run out winners 16-12. A special thank you to Bill Gurney, Barry Wroth and Bluey Williams for sponsoring the event. Also congratulations go to Marilyn Jackson, Ollie Austin and Ros Chapman in winning the Ladies Triples Championship after dominating the round robin event that the women played in the hard conditions today.

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Darryl Stewart and Kevin Baker in going back to back in the Men's Pairs Championships. There were great bowls played across the 2 weekends by all players which culminated in a final on Sunday afternoon between Darryl and Kevin against Richard Major and Scott Willis. The final was a tight affair with Stewart and Baker leading 8-7 afer 11 ends. On the 12th end they picked up 4 shots giving them a 5 shot lead and from there they went on to win 14 - 7 and claim their second title in 2 years. Well done to the pair. Well done to everyone who played and a very special thank you to Partington Builders for once again sponsoring the event.

21.01.2022 Well done Esperance Blue for overcoming Esperance White in a pennant grand final that went down to the last bowl. In a game that fluctuated from beginning to end Blue claimed the premiership by 3 shots (61-58) over White. Congratulations to all involved.

17.01.2022 Let's try again

15.01.2022 Last night was a great start to our new Jack Attack competition. We have added team names to the teams so check out your teams name and next weeks fixture. The Long Arm Of The Draw are leading the way from the Hot Pigs 2.0. Some great bowls were played and everybody seamed to like the exciting new format. We look forward to seeing everybody next week.

14.01.2022 After much ado we have found replacements for the weekend. The names in blue will be permanent replacements in the teams and the names in red are filling in for the weekend. Thanks to all for putting your hand up to help out, much appreciated.

13.01.2022 Come down and watch the Men's Singles Championship Final. Aaron Smith vs Kevin Baker. Tonight 6pm. Sausage Sizzle available.

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Aaron Smith on winning his second Stewart Medal for the Men's Singles Championship which was sponsored by Stearnes. In what was the first ever night final a crowd between 40-50 turned up to watch what turned out to be a great spectacle with Aaron coming from behind to beat Kevin Baker 21-20 in a final that will be talked about for a long time to come. Thank you to Peter Stewart who marked the match and also to Richard Major and Kim Seinor for cooking the sausage sizzle. It was great to see such a crowd attend and make it such a great night for the club.

11.01.2022 Opening day today and the weather isn’t looking great. Forecast is for rain at 12pm but hopefully we’ll be able to get on the green after that. Rug up but, might be a bit chilly.

07.01.2022 Hi all, with round 5 on this Saturday we are looking a possible weather warning. Saturday is forecast to be raining but it may only be in the morning. We will look at the weather and make a decision by 10am as to whether or not we will play. Please keep an eye on Facebook and your phones for messages. We have also got 11 players out from last weekend. We are still chasing 1 player to fill in a position. If you can help please contact me. Otherwise have a look at the fixture and hopefully we can get a game in and carry on on what has been a very successful competition so far.

06.01.2022 Tomorrow night is the first week of Jack Attack for this year, good luck everyone. Any bowlers who can help out each week please let us know as I'm sure subs will be required along the way.

04.01.2022 Yesterday saw the final round of the Winter Competition. Any of the top 5 sides could have won the competition. With competition leaders Swans missing Buck Rodgers and Demons and Lions breathing down their necks the result was promising to be tight. Tim Williams filled in for Buck and stood up to prevail over Bob Reeves claiming the match in a tie breaker. Marilyn Jackson held her nerve against Bluey Williams also winning their match in a tie breaker giving the competition le...aders 6 points. Bulldogs took on the Lions in a match that was always going to shape the top 3 results, Bulldogs took the chocolates 5 points to 3 with Robbie Suter winning easily over Rod Whitehead but Bill Gurney grabbed a set against Callum Williams before going down in the tie breaker. The 5 points was enough to elevate the Bulldogs into the Third position whilst relegating the Lions to fourth. 2nd place Demons took on the Tigers needing a big win to overtake Swans. Barry Wroth and David Smith drew their first set with Dave Smith claiming the 2nd set for the Demons. On the other rink Richard Major had Jeff Moir in trouble winning the first set before Pud fought back to win the second set and the also take out the tie breaker to see Demons win 6.5 points to 1.5. Unfortunately for the Demons this wasn't enough to overtake the Swans but saw them finish comfortable in seconds spot one point behind our competition winners, Swans. Our last game saw Royals take on Falcons in the battle for the bottom or what was dubbed "The who cares cup". Arne Neilsen's side bowled well as a unit and proved too strong for Scott Willis with Gary Beilken easily BOG. Paul Maringoni save face for the Royals beating Dean Everett in a tie breaker but Falcons took away 5 points elevating them into 6th place and seeing the avoid the wooden spoon. Alan Backshall was crowned the MVP of the competition claiming 6 of a possible 7 votes with Robbie Suter taking out runner up MVP one vote behind on 5 votes. Thanks to our sponsors AVON WASTE and ESPERANCE RURAL SUPPLIES for their great support of our club. Also thanks to everybody who helped to make this such a successful event. See more

04.01.2022 Congratulations to Bardow's on winning the Barefoot Bowls competition for 2021. The Barefoot Bowls trophy is the Bob Devenish Memorial Shield which is proudly sponsored by the Devenish Family. Bardow's were the clear winners being the only team going through undefeated. In second place was the sponsors PFD Food who humbly turned down their prize an elevating The Hot Pigs from 3rd to 2nd and Two Plus two finished in 3rd place. Tonight was also St Patricks Day and many teams got into the spirit of the night and it looked like a sea of green from a distance. congrats to Marilyn Jackson and Ollie Austin on a well organized even that came with challenges from the weather but everything else ran smoothly. Also thanks to all those who volunteered their time to help make the event a great success.
