18.01.2022 To all my dance friends in the dance world, It is important for us as dancers to keep our bodies in condition and strong to enable us to continue to do that which we love. It is a challenge when we are busy with dance, however, doing a conditioning workshop will assist to prevent injury. I workout at a minimum of 3 times a week to maintain my strength and condition. The bonus is that it is great for my mental and emotional health while working on my physicality. ... This program is held in the studio at Eric Street Physiotherapy And Movement Centre with a physiotherapist who specialises in dance Pilates and exercise program, so you will be looked after . By day, Scarborough’s celebration will see friends and families gather on the beach to enjoy traditional BBQs and bites from the regions, sip on mouth-watering beverages, lounge in sunchairs, or try your hand (and foot) at traditional beach games including; football, volleyball, frescobol, slackline and foot volley, all to the soundtrack of hottest Brazilian tunes, courtesy of the epic house DJ! . By night, the amphitheatre transformed into a mini Carnaval with live bands, traditional performances, carnival drummers and samba dancers, in the most spectacular colour and costumes. 06.01.2022 Pulled from the archives #TBT Circa 2004. We broke the barriers in Latin dance performance here in Perth, when we performed Brazilian Samba in "g-strings" at a fundraiser event at the Quarry Amphitheatre and then at Telethon 2004. Anyone that was struggling to stay awake watching Telethon Children's Carnival -PCEC at the Convention centre or on tv, was woken by our performance. It left the panel speechless. We had so much fun that night, didn't we Claire Fortune, Kristina, ...Shai Yammanee, Andrei Babaeff Alvarez, Li-anne Carroll! Thanks to Gloria who had us come on board to perform that night.
