17.01.2022 Just a quick PSA from the Espresso Moriello team! As we all know by now COVID-19 (or the Corona Virus as it’s also known) is sweeping the globe. As a business that comes face to face with many different people on a daily basis we are going to be stepping up our cleanliness and safety. -We’ll not be allowing people to lean or put dirty dishes/used napkins/discarded rubbish/empty cups on the glass display cabinet or any of the bench spaces where coffee and food are prepared. Th...ese areas need to be kept as clean and as free of germs as possible so they don’t have to be sanitised after every customer. -We’re stepping up the amount we clean our tables and benches/cabinets and sanitising our chairs daily to minimise the spread of anything nasty. -If you are feeling unwell or are showing any signs of a cold or flu (or worst case COVID-19), be it the beginning or the tale end of a sickness, we ask that you PLEASE STAY HOME AND DO NOT COME IN TO INTERACT WITH US. As much as we love seeing our regulars and meeting new people passing through, we do not love being at risk or putting our other customers at risk of illness. This point stands for cold and flu season in general. -If there is an issue of a person coming down with/coming into the cafe with COVID-19 we will have to take safety precautions and close for an appropriate amount of time. If we do have to close, in the worst case scenario, we will make it known what the situation is so everyone has a fighting chance and can seek medical advice/self quarantine. We want all our customers to stay safe and healthy during this time and we thank everyone who has so far continued to support us during this situation. It’s not an easy time for small businesses, or hospitality workers, and we are very lucky that we are able to still be serving up our hot coffee’s and tasty panini’s to everyone who passes by.
