Small classes means you get lots of attention and poses adapted to your amount of pain or mobility. Using props such as blocks and blankets provides the support you need. Releasing tension requires continual work - movement, yoga poses, breath work, and monitoring how your mind reacts to your daily experiences and encounters. But every moment you spend being mindful works upon the previous moment, so it all counts! That is good to know!

A regular yoga practice helps reduce joint pain, improve joint flexibility and function, and lower stress and tension to help you sleep better. Love and compassion for your body in a yoga practice means lots of things. One is to remain mindful and listen to your body. If there is pain in any way, that pose may not be right for you. Blankets and blocks and loving guidance fr...om your teacher will move you into a variation of the pose or a different pose! Blankets are the main prop used to bring you both out of pain and get the most out of the pose. Yoga done mindfully in a small group taught with love and compassion, is key to easing out of your pain and stress, and seeing yourself and others with love and compassion. With love, Annie
