14.01.2022 I've been up and down a ladder all day. All my storybooks have a home thanks to all our extra storage. So many fond memories of reading to both my own children as well as preschoolers in these books. But now time to enjoy a nice chilled bevvie.

You read it to your kids and even after 10 years, choke on your tears. Nana... I'm putting everything back in it's place as I speak, so I can relax in the morning!

01.01.2022 Real talk... Throughout my life, at times when I was really struggling, someone would say to me: Tomorrow will be better. Well, guess what? Sometimes tomorrow ...wasn’t better. Sometimes it was worse. Sometimes it was much, much worse. But here’s the thing... I survived it. What seemed unmanageable, I somehow managed. The difficult ended up being doable. So when someone with the best of intentions tries to encourage you by promising you that tomorrow will be better, you can’t really count on that being true. But what you can count on being true is that you are capable of managing the unmanageable. You will get through it. And someday, sooner or later, your tomorrow really will be better.
