13.01.2022 And there it is. The whole thing. First time doing this kind of tile reveal post The drawing was a tight squeeze commission for a relatively new client. Can’t say more - but looking forward to sharing where it ended up! #artist #botanicalart #illustration #studiolife

10.01.2022 ... and finally the blooms take shape

10.01.2022 B E T T Y In all the busyness of recent weeks I had forgotten to post her finished portrait. This sweet lady. Her smile and warmth shine through. She was a nurse - from rural NSW. A giver.... My thoughts are with those today who are on the frontline caring for the sick and risking their own health.

09.01.2022 VALERIE . It was a pleasure to draw her. Getting back into the flow of creativity isn’t always easy when you hit a wall. I just loved working with graphite again and learning a new story along the way.

09.01.2022 Better late than never! . . Here is the final piece, framed and ready. I had it at home for a day just to enjoy before delivery. ... This project was very different to anything I had worked on before. Pastels, running horses, bold colours and all drawn by someone else. This was my Interpretation and it was a magical scene I thoroughly enjoyed to recreate. Thank you to Roger at Mr.Frame who added the perfect finish!

06.01.2022 Just wanted to update you all - I have been rather quiet here. Started with moving house and ended up with plenty of alone time and isolation. I am Thankful for the times i am living in. In everything uncertain there is also time for change and room for something new to grow. #coronaart

04.01.2022 Day 3 - Iris . . A bit late with these after a weekend of camping! #artober2020 #artoberflowers

02.01.2022 I haven’t been so creative the past months but I have created some good Kombucha this week. Second batch and it’s very sparkling and tastes so good!

02.01.2022 #wip Pastel pencils are incredible

01.01.2022 Last weekend at #mountannanbotanicgardens

01.01.2022 A Portrait to reflect on - a special moment between friends. I am working on a pastel drawing of these beautiful creatures and am just in awe of their beauty. My younger sister has a huge place in her heart for Jax. She is strong, caring and kind - but also full of fire and life. A few qualities I hope to evoke in the illustration.... Time will tell.
