Although you may have thought it was a myth, according to the old Irish tradition, the leap year is the perfect chance for a woman to take matters into her own hands. We must remember, of course, that it is 2020 and women are definitely capable of proposing on any day of the year that she so wi...shes, but traditionally in Ireland, this right was reserved specifically for the leap year and more often than not for the extra day it granted us, February 29. 10.01.2022 UK Bride My lovely English couple who travelled all the way from the UK to be wed on our Aussie shores at their friends magnificent home. It was a hot one indeed and just the ceremony they asked for. There were tears from the family back home watching via FaceTime. And a very touching moment when I announced their union - their eldest son became very overwhelmed with emotion. 05.01.2022 Well beach wedding in Portsea Saturday afternoon rain, rain and more rain plus huge winds . My couple chose to have faith in the universe and it answered favourably. Other than issues with the tide the sky broke out in sunshine and the wind dropped. They got their beach wedding and what an awesome couple. As I announced them as husband and wife a high tide wave washed up touching the feet of this beautiful couple for their first kiss

03.01.2022 Hand-fasting Ceremony. This couple had the brides family tartan with her embroidered crest at one end and his at the other and when they tied the knot it sat beautifully presenting the crests at either end with the knot in between. Now framed above their bed.

I have an upcoming wedding, I dont like the term surprise wedding, it makes it sound like the couple are being tricked - some couples just like the option to declare their commitment privately and then present themselves as a married couple at another celebration. Or alternatively combine another celebration and surprise their guests by getting married. The main thing is its the couples day and surprise or secret it is love . Personally I am always bursting like a child told something so special I cant tell anyone. Excited
