23.01.2022 What a brilliant day!!! Well done to Christine, Neil, Marco and Rex for representing Ettalong Toastmasters at the annual Inter RSL contest. Although we didn't secure a place in the contest, we didn't go empty handed - Neil won the raffle Thank you to all the competitors, organisers and spectators for putting together the spectacular event!

22.01.2022 Another fantastic meeting! Last Tuesday we held our annual humorous speech and table topics club competition. It was incredible to witness each speaker take the opportunity to demonstrate how far they have excelled in confidence, communication and leadership. To sum up, it was a spectacular night filled with laughs, cheers and triumphs Congratulations Christine, Kye and Marco for winning a place in the humorous speech, and George, Bob and Marco for taking home a place in table topics. We also owe a special thanks to the past members who returned to lend their support. Can’t wait to see you all compete again next year!

13.01.2022 Ettalong Beach Toastmaster Club rocks! We had a exhilarating, entertaining, fun 2019 International Speech and Evaluation Contest. We had five people in each competition and, according to the judges, it was a tight contest.

12.01.2022 Who said dreams don't come true? At Toastmasters, they certainly come true Take Marco for example. After our last competition night, Marco joked that he just placed short for receiving a trophy and his goal is to now win a trophy at Toastmasters. Guess what? Marco can tick that goal off the list now. In commemoration of his hard work each fortnight organising meetings, he received a (miniature) trophy! It's fair to say that it is well deserved. 06.01.2022 What a great start to the year! Two entertaining meetings last month + a brilliant speech and evaluation club competition yesterday. Had one the largest participant turnouts; 6 speakers and 8 evaluators Congratulations Darren, Christine, Bob and Rex for placing in the competition. I think it's fair to say we were all utterly impressed by their incredible speeches and evaluations. Well deserved ... Thank you to all who participated and contributed to the fantastic night.

02.01.2022 Last night was a blast Yesterday was our second night of Speechcraft. We had 9 speechcrafters presenting their first speech, the 'ice breaker', in the one meeting! The speeches were entertaining, the feedback was supportive and the energy was great. Two nights of speechcraft done... two more to go
