24.01.2022 This afternoon Euabalong West Public School had a massive hail storm. In true Euabalong West style the students made the most of the crazy weather.

23.01.2022 There was a real BUZZ of excitement at EWPS today. Well done to Anky, Alexis, Jillian, Kayla, Kyla, and Riley for participating in the 2020 Small Schools Spelling Bee today.

21.01.2022 Dear Euabalong West Community Members, please note new Public Health advice which came into effect on 17/08/20. All parents have already been contacted about this update. - Students should be at school unless they have a medical certificate or are unwell. - In accordance with advice from NSW Health, parents and carers are reminded NOT to send children to school if they are unwell, even if they have the mildest flu-like symptoms - symptoms can include fever, chills, muscle ac...hes, cough, congestion, runny nose, headaches and fatigue. - Schools will make arrangements for students who present as unwell or have flu-like symptoms to be sent home. - NSW Health have requested that schools encourage anyone who is unwell or has even mild flu-like symptoms, to arrange to be tested through their local medical practitioner or one of the COVID 19 clinics. - Students and staff with flu-like symptoms will need to provide a copy of a negative COVID19 test result before being permitted to return to school. 20.01.2022 Well done to Joshua, Dustin, Jillian, and Alexis for winning their debate today against Naradhan Public School. The topic was "all schools should have class pets" and EWPS debated for the negative. Thank you to NPS for their valiant effort in the debate. We hope all the students enjoyed the experience and we look forward to the next one.

18.01.2022 Don't forget, school photos are tomorrow! Students are to wear full blue school uniform on the day.

17.01.2022 End of year reminders Our presentation evening will start at 6pm on Monday 14th December. Parents are asked to bring their own picnic food, camp chairs and or rugs to sit on in the lawn area. There will be limited school picnic tables available for use. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you stay in your family group and not mingle. The students are asked to wear mufti clothes on Monday and wear their blue school uniform for the presentation evening. ... We are looking forward to an enjoyable evening. Please return all library books and home readers by next Wednesday Merry Christmas to all and enjoy a safe holiday.

14.01.2022 Today we had our first Yarn Up to plan for the learning of Aboriginal students in our school. There will be more learning planning sessions to come in Term 2 for all students. Thank you everyone for coming. We hope you enjoyed the yarning and BBQ and look forward to working closely with you in future. One big idea from today was to create a yarning circle!

08.01.2022 K-6 worked hard to create their end of year music video 'Dance Monkey'. The choreography was done by Zac Ferris, Kyla Jones, Alexis Turner, Anky Mansley, and Angus Luck. Costume design by Dustin Ohlsen.

08.01.2022 We are very happy to confirm that the Kindergarten Transition program at Euabalong West Public School will go ahead this term! A note will go home tomorrow with students about the transition program.

07.01.2022 Kid’s Club will be held tomorrow at the school starting at 3:30pm. We will finish at approximately 5 pm. Weather permitting we will play some outside games followed by a drink and snack. Then we will go inside for singing, a story and a craft activity. All welcome. ... A gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated, to go towards children’s missions. See you there.

07.01.2022 We hope everyone is having a wonderful break and enjoying their school holidays. Just a reminder that all EWPS students will return to school on Friday 5th February. Staff return on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th February for professional learning. The school will be open for any enquiries on these days. We look forward to seeing everyone for a great new school year.

01.01.2022 Our Kinder Transition students had their first day at school today. Riva, Ryan, Abigail and Tyler had a great day participating in many fun activities. Our Kindergarten students were great school buddies and helped to make sure they were well looked after.
