24.01.2022 Its crunch time this weekend at the Bend. Championship teams award & class win on the line. Its been a good year of learning. New car, Only 7.5R production r...aced in the world? Rules & regulations that had to be met. Australian Production Cars final round is on. Iain Salteri currently leading the MRF Tyres Team Award points with Cem Yucel, driving the #40 Harding Performance Volkswagen Golf. Proudly running RacingLine Performance, Milltek Sport & SuperPro parts. The MRF Tyres Team Award is a fantastic prize and something that Cem and I have really consciously targeted since the beginning of the year, Salteri said. All of the sponsors involved along with the category have been very generous in making this prize package a reality, and we are really keen to lock it down! There is a lot of competition for the prize and it is very close heading to the final round. We are of course very happy to be able to be in the lead position heading to the last round, but we will have to see what happens this weekend. We will be focusing on getting as many points as we can and hopefully consolidating the lead in the Teams Award, and hopefully we can walk away with it at the end! The C1 Championship is also on our mind as we are second on the standings there at the moment. We are certainly feeling confident that we can challenge for the championship. The N-Gen Racing guys have been strong all year. Some tracks have suited them better while others have suited us better, and that is one of the exciting things about production car racing! It has been a really exciting class to be involved with this year and it is a great bunch of people. Neither Cem or I, or the Golf, have been to Tailem Bend before so we are not sure what to expect, but we have been working really hard on reliability and we think we have got a car that is fast enough to win it.
