15.01.2022 Mk7 Gti manual in for a tune today. Had to hold back on the torque a bit until the car gets an uprated clutch kit. Ps, valved exhausts arent all function! Some are designed to merely be used at startup or very slow cruising speeds. A quick dyno run in both modes shows the vast difference in power between valve open and valve closed.

15.01.2022 A very respectable 100nm gain in torque on this Golf 7R! These cars respond really well to tuning on both Stage 1 and Stage 2 packages. This particular car had a high-flow downpipe fitted by us and also the factory intake modified before we carried out a custom tune.

12.01.2022 Today we had this near new Hyundai i30n in for a bit of work. As the customer did not want to take a chance with a custom tune affecting the new car warranty, he opted for the Burger Motorsport JB4 unit. Coupled with a Remus cat-back exhaust system yielded adequate gains and a seriously sporty soundtrack!

12.01.2022 Ive been reading a few post regarding dynamometer result and it seems like everyone has a different opinion on what a car should make pre vs post tune, hub vs roller dynos and power figures at the wheels vs flywheel. The only way to be sure is to have an accurately calibrated dyno and using the same dyno for your pre and post tune runs. Our dyno reads flywheel kilowatts and torque. That is at the engine in other words. Almost every manufacturer and car magazine quotes pow...er figures at the engine so it just makes sense to measure it there. Today we picked a car at random to test our dynos accuracy. It is an Audi A3 2.0Tdi. The first picture is quoted power and torque from Audi. The second picture shows the results as measured by us. Theres no arguing with hard evidence.

10.01.2022 The best way to fix an unchecked flash & forget stage 2 tune from elsewhere is with a stage 3 from Eurospec of course! A hybrid turbo coupled with a custom tune by Eurospec/SpecTune yielded excellent results on this Mk6 Gti. Gains were considerable over the very average stage 2.

07.01.2022 Excellent results from this Stage 2 engine and gearbox package! All the hardware was already fitted, we just carried out a custom SpecTune on this fully pimped MK6 Gti. Nice linear torque curve as the car is only front wheel drive and driving an on/off switch is absolutely annoying!... Some very tasteful pops and bangs added to round of this tune.

After fitting a F23T turbo and upgrading the intercooler, we also supplied and fitted upgraded front and rear brakes as well as a set of coilovers, then carried out a custom tune to give this car the wolf in sheeps clothing factor! The low figure on the dyno graph shows the so-called stage 2 the car had in it when it was presented to us. Yet another example of someone elses unchecked work....... Do it once, do it right!
